The title says it all really, do writs reward you with adventuring xp? |

Yes. But not very much. They also give you status. Status can be used to buy special items that you can't buy otherwise but your status has to be high enough to buy them. Trust me, when you see some of the very cool things you can buy with status, you'll want it. |

I'm not convinced that they give any, I wouldn't lvl up off them. -- |

LMAO at those that doubt WRIT XP.
Our guild's MOTD is often "DO WRITS! WRITS! WRITS w/ GRITS!" It is the easiest way to "grind" XP while at the same time earning gold. If you do writs at higher levels, especailly you will never suffer for cash or XP.

Different writs give different amounts and types of xp. Work order and rush work order writs give you Tradeskill xp, while the writs from the different factions will give you Adventuring xp (as long as the writ is not greyed out by the time you do it). The more difficult the writ the more xp and status points you receive. Have also noticed a bit of a difference between cities... but that could just be the differnt characters that I play. Lanuit & Moonlightmist on Ryzom (Arispotle) and EQ2 (Lucan D'Lere) |

adventuring writs give you faction and/or status. They give you xp & aa the first time you do them only. Some writ providers have several random writs so each unique one gives xp. Same for any repeatable quests, no xp the second time. |
