Yes it is. That is why myself and many others have rolled characters on the EU client International PvP and PvE servers.

it is not acclaims obligation nor in there interest to advocate another companys software. as for the rolls any one is welcome to login on the acclaim forums and see how much uproar there is ... from what I can see there is nothing major? and for you to tout the frogster version as better on the acclaim forums? what do you expect them to do? if it was me i'd tell your ass to STFU too. i've played the frogster version and cb and ob'ed the acclaims version theres no difference in my opinion ...

really? cause ones i have played (SWG, LOTRO, EQ2, and a couple of others) have all had a rollback of some sort...ranging from like an hour to a day or two sometimes.

I've also played multiple mmos and beta tested many, never a rollback. That being said, having read all the posts I see that it is common in SOME mmos. I still think it's messed up that Acclaim is still touting this as open beta and wanting us to go through these bugs while paying at the same time for subscription fees. Is it our choice to subscribe if we do, yes, but it's still ultra shady as far as I'm concerned. |

The reason they are removing EU join threads is because they same guy is using several accounts to recreate the same thread over and over. There is already one main thread for it, no need for several others. And eys rollbacks are common in MMO"s. Anything else? And to the OP, I have a bridge I want to sell you, want it? It comes full featured and all you have to do is drive across it. That easy enough for you? Or should I drive the car to. |

And that's why they call it BETA . You are playing the game for FREE in order to TEST it. That's the trade off. Get over it.
Oh...and if you are dumb enough to PAY to play a game in BETA you deserve every rollback and character wipe you get, because you are officially stupid. |

"Easy" only equals "better" for crack addicts and MMORPG developers. |

This is why, as had been said repeatedly, in the process of being changed to a clear flat rate CC charge. We don't really nned to talk about the same things ad infitum once they have been recognised and are being addressed do we?
Then why is it, after MONTHS of knowing they would be taking this game. For MONTHS Acclaim has known this would be a subscription based game. Yet they never bothered to prepare for making flat rate CC charges? Kinda shows how much they give a dam about anything but selling their coins. Personally I wouldn't recommend anybody paying to play this game untill it does go full subscription based. |

Regardless of how shitty the game may run or how the devs/publisher try to spin it by saying it's "beta".. Hey, maybe TCoS and Darkfall can team up. They seem to have a lot in common. |

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

thats a fair comment. I am loving the game right now, and getting full VFM from it I feel, but if you are at all bothered about the word 'beta' keep your money until they call it 'live'. It's all good :) |

That was many years ago, before mmos were anywhere near mainstream and developers got away with pretty much anything due to low competition. Also, we see where E&B is now, right? |

No, but these days i would rather give a troll a hug then get into 5 pages of pointless 'debate' with someone who will never change their minds anyhow. It's such a waste of energy. if you think what you think, fair enough to you, it's not my job to convert you or improve you. I hope you can find a game that you like as much I as like SB :) |

So because I believe accepting money to play = released product, and disagree with the principle of calling it beta in order to cover their collective asses, I'm a "troll"? I was right. This does look more and more like Darkfall every minute. |
