Decisions, decisions.... I can't make up my mind! The Elves neighborhood is the most aesthetically pleasing, but man is it in the middle of nowhere. Dwarf housing is right next to a travel hub, which makes easy access to crafting and the auction house. However, the neighborhood is a dark and gloomy maze. Hobbit and Man housing are kind of in between in terms of distance to utilities. Mainly I want a house for the extra storage chest that can be used to transfer items between alts. So which house did you buy and are you happy with your decision? Playing - LotRO, SWToR |

Man is actually the one with the best location, walking distance from bree can be very handy (thats where my kin hall is). I chose elvish for my house because the landscape there is actually very pleasant and also kaus i'm an elf, but its really in the middle of nowhere which isnt too much of a pain on my main ( hunter) but is sometimes annoying on my alts). THe only reason to choose hobbit would be for those very good looking hobbit holes. And dwrf just feels oppressing to me but some people like the fact that its underground. I'm not a no life that sits in front of his computer all day long, I'm an intern that sits in front of his computer all day long. |

My kinhouse is also in Bree, so buying a house there would be kind of redundant. I really like the landscape of the Elves housing, but I'm not into the round rooms inside. Round rooms is kind of an odd architecture. Playing - LotRO, SWToR |

I bought a standard house in the dwarven housing area. My house is located close to the housing area exit for easy travel. I use it for transferring bulk items between alts that would be expensive to mail and as a travel hub. The dwarven housing area is the most conveniently located for travel. I am happy with my choice. |

If your KS house is in the Man neighborhood, then you will be giving up a free travel point if u get one there. What race is your character? Hobbits and Dwarves both get racial travel abilities that will take them to Micheal Delving or Thorin's Hall (respectively) at higher levels. So for example, if you are a dwarf you could end up with four travel abilities: man housing area (near Bree), hobbit housing area (near Michael Delving), Thorin's hall (racial), and your map. That's actually pretty handy. If you are a man or an elf, the hobbit and dwarf areas are both good for utility. I went with elf becuase I liked the houses. Since my main is a hunter, it really doesn't matter to me that the neighborhood is in the middle of no-where. I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us. |

I went Hobbit just because I like the houses so much. I originally had an Elf house and it was great but I just couldn't resist the lure of the Shire! |

Never try to teach a pig to sing,it wastes your time and annoys the pig. |

I bought an elf house and regret it. The house is nice, decorates real well and is a pleasant place to go. However my non-hunters find it out of the way for travel. Should have gotten a hobbit or dwarf house for ease of travel. |
