I have tried both downloads link on the spellborn.acclaim.com/downloads.html however the download speed is horrible. I get about 69KBps/sec which is really bad 10 hour download. I normaly download stuff at about 750KBps/sec. Is there a way to download faster or something. All MMO's have grinds. If you don't like to Grind then MMO's are not for you. |

one ran at a good level for abount 20 minutes then just stalled and did nothing for two hours..
I am thinking this game is toast.. the binarys I have will not log me in, and the new set will not download. hmmm back to another game that works. sad. played:WoW and Eve off and on 3.5 years |

It might just be that so many people are downloading for the open beta. I dl'd my copy when it was in closed beta. I wasn't a tester but figured I would download it before it was released and was getting around 700k or so.

I did the same, I downloaded it 4 days ago and installed and patched it.. but a new acclaim version was suppose to fix the bad id/pw issue. I am a sad sad panda.. This really was on of the few games releasing this year I wanted to try. played:WoW and Eve off and on 3.5 years |

i used the one on their page last night and was done in 20 or so mins. |

My speed is about 242 kb/sec and i have like 25.3 in 10-20. Not sure when i started it. |

I am sitting on 290-320. Downloading from West coast Aust thats a good speed. Higher than average in fact. EDIT: checked again, its pushing over 400 now. You must have tried when everyone was slamming the server. |

If its ultra slow and you have a Fileplanet Sub I would suggest getting it from them. I d/l'd my client for US Trial in about an 1 hr 45 min. and I know ppl using Acclaims downloader that have been downloading since a couple days ago |

Mine is at fullspeed, at all times didn't notice any problems so far Sometimes 1+1 makes 3 |

I got the d'l'er in no time at all. The problem here seems to be the game itself. Was going fine then stalled at 22%. Been sitting at 22% for about an hour now. |

I got the entire 3 Gb in less than 4 hours this morning. The speed was over 200kb/s with dips down to 70-ish on occasion. That's using the Acclaim downloader.
