i played age of conan in the beta briefly found it did nt work on my system then played on a buddy key and found it did . i managed to get the game cheaply recently and then managed to get a 60 day time card even cheaper . given i m bored to high heaven with warcraft and warhammer at the moment . three months play for next to nothing seams good to me at the moment so i think i ll give this game a shot over the summer months . i m playing in europe so perhaps some of you may be able to recomend a half decent server and what classes are easiest to level . i m not expecting the best game in the world but it will be interesting to play this before it disapears .

Hi !

PVP servers = Fury-pvp or Aquilonia-rp-pvp.

PVE servers = Crom

Easiest class is probably Tempest of Set (healer). There are many classes that are good and fun to lvl.

Well you shoulden't expect the best game in the world, but you should expect a Very good and fun game.

And dont worry, Age of conan will not disapear.

hiya dave thanks for the advice  . i  ve heard it does nt have an end game but i do think i ll enjoy leveling from 1-80 . three months for a tenner really is a bargain am looking forward to playing . i m glad to hear its a very good game :)  should be fun to try out  .

Well, I think I never played a game that has such amounts of  wrong information surrounding it as AoC. One of those myths is that there is no end game. When you reach max lvl in the game you can do the following:

* 3 Tier 1 raids and for tier 2 you have Black Ring Citadel wing 1, 2 and 3. (wing 3 is brand new)
* 4-5 group dungeons (1 is brand new) + the 3 instances that level according to player level
* PvP for PvP xp and resources
* Sieges
* 1 brand new lvl 80 solo dungeon + The villas
* Gather recipies and do some crafting

A new lvl 75ish area is also expected in the next major update. So there is an end game.

Yes, Age of conan has a end game both for pvp and pve ;)

Last patch added new end game content, so dont worry.

It could still use some more endgame.

And the level 75 zone is not coming in the next patch, it is the itemisation patch. It might come in the patch after that but it is possible that that patch will be DX 10. So 2 or 3 patches away is the true status.

As for servers I agree with Dave, Crom, Fury or Aqua are my choices too.

As for easy classes to level, I say TOS, Guardian, Bear schaman and necro are the easiest ones but Guardians and POMs are the easiest to find groups for. Still, pick the class you think is most funny to play.

I am a ranger (but I just stopped playing for a while, waiting for Tarantia Common and will be back once it is online, or possibly before), not the easiest class to level since you have very little AoE but funny to play and popular in groups because the high DPS on a single target together with the CC makes it good against bosses.

It has also been hinted that Tarantia Commons will have new high lvl dungeons (lvl 80) ;)

FC will hopefully also launch T3 of black ring citadel / Thoth-amons stronghold.
