Thats up to you,its your cash :) You will lag alot, pretty sure you will go into a slide show with any large pvp/raids even in cities, all in all a very fustrating time. Maybe a better idea would be to put the cash toward a good 2nd hand system, comes a time for everyone when they just have to start again,I couldnt even reccomend upgrading your current system(if thats even possible). |

You might try here and see what they say. That way you can tell what area of your computer is the weakest. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

You definitely need an extra gig of memory and a decent video card from NVIDIA or ATI. At least to enjoy the game. |

Actually the Intel video is 100% not compatible, thus will not run the game. You did not state if you had another video card installed. You did not state OS either. I also agree, that you will definitely waste your money even trying the game. Good luck |

yea like others have said. highly doubtful you will be able to run AoC on your computers. The minimum specs on the back of the game box are as follows : Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista 2GB of RAM, Nvidia Geforce 6600 128MB, Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz or equivalent, DVD Rom Drive, 32GB of HDD space The Recommened are : Windows XP Service Pack 2 or windows Vista, 2GB of Ram , Nvidia Geforce 7900GTX or equivalent 512MB, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz or better, DVD Rom Drive, 32GB of HDD speace even with the recommended system requirements some people cant run game on max settings. Funcom i guess assumed those requirements were enough but people have upgraded their systems above those settings to be able to play on max. my specs are Windows Vista, 3GB of Ram, Nvidia Geforce 9600GT 512MB, Intel Quad Core 2.4Ghz. back at launch i thought id be able to run game on high/max settings but couldn't, due to the issues they were having back then. so i had to run game on medium with a few things off. now will all the fixes i am being told i should be able to run game on high settings (i think?) with my 9600gt card. but more than likely i will still need a better graphics card to max out my settings hope this helps |

Originally posted by icewalker92 Mate honestly your system wont run AoC and also dont listen to anyone telling you to spend good money to upgrade your system,it will be a waste,I hate to be harsh but your system would need a total overhaul, also when ppl start saying "get a new video card" they have no idea what PSU you are running(very improtant)also they dont even know if your system can support it,also even with 1 or 2 upgrades it leads to bottlenecking your setup. Like I said before there comes a time when we all have to start from fresh with our system's. You can get some good gamming pc's 2nd hand quite cheap,my advice would be if you want to play AoC or indeed future games then start to put some cash aside every week and get yourself a decent gamming pc. |

Is nps mate,I dont want to put your setup down but for example, I bought my new system about 18 months ago it is a decent setup with ... Dual core 2.66,4gb RAM,8800gt 512mb card, vista 32. Now that system cost me 1000 euro new, these days it would maybe be around 600 euro+/-,2nd hand maybe around the 200 euro mark..alot less than it would cost to get your current system anywhere near those specs. |
