No I was not stupid enough to buy it but one of my family members was even after I told them not to waste 50 bucks on something that is barely above shareware quality.

I'am not quite sure what exactly they were doing for 8 years.. or even 6 years.. whichever way you want to look at it.. but it sure as hell was not developing this game because in reality it should not have taken more than 2 years to build what amounts to nothing more than a totally empty, featureless, contentless video game. Darkfall is nothing more than a poory done combat simulator system with bad animations, outdated graphics, terrible sound/music , terrible CS, and barebones functionality at best. Couple this with a group of people who are seemingly some of the most incompetent and common sense challenged to ever launch a MMO and you have Failure within a few short months, if not weeks.

People are already saying they are bored and cancelling after only 3 weeks of play which shouldn't surprise at all becaus that's the obvious thing that would happen when there's nothing else to do in a game other than to PK and "full loot".

Come on man, you must be joking.  The videos look so damn boring, all people do is run around and swing their knife at each other, it is like a CS knifefight game except with a crappier engine and that doesn't play as smooth.  I haven't seen any video that demonstrates any strategy or skill at all, nor have I read any review that describes that about the combat, it is just who has the most pots, the most stamina, and the most players, then everyone runs around and swings their knives at each other and throw a magic missile/arrow.... this is the most boring gameplay I have ever seen a video of for any game that was ever made!!!

Lie to me Darth, tell me that Tasos didnt say the game was feature complete and ready to launch in 2006. Lie to me and tell me that the game launched in that state. Go ahead lie to me.

They were hyping the game with bullshit promises, that they simply knew they will never be able to keep.

Tassos, as he would never accept his loss, he finally made his exit or will, in a couple of months after scooping whatever he can gather from this scam.

In his Quest, he was not alone.  MMORPG.com helped him so much, that shows us that in the vast world of internet, and under the title of free reportage anything can happen.

If anything, what I will remember from this scam, is the fun I had in this forumfall, and the amazing Hitler movie series from Placebo. Especially the last episode. Great fun to watch, nice work there guys

DF is the worst mmo ever,  few guild made incredible amounts of cash using exploits in the first few days after release and even though they are being quiet about how they did it one of the way they used was already in in beta version.

But AV is too scared to wipe the servers in order to save the balance or even just to ban these people (that'd leave only the noobs on the sev).

So they arn't gonna do anything about people that cheated to take control of the towns.

If thats what you are used to find in good mmos then I must say you should stop smoking meth.
