I used to play magic the gathering back in high school. I've started fiddleing around with wizard101 and now I remember how much fun it is to make a deck of cards and fight turn based style. It's really kiddie though and the chat filter drives me nuts. Before I get to involved I was wondering...
Does anyone know of a card based MMO with animated attack cards similar to wizard101 but geared more for adults?

I will still search and fight the good fight until I find the game to own all games. |

Unfortunately no... there is not MMO out there that resemble MTG other than wizard 101 and even that annoyed the hell out of me. That game is geared way too much toward kid entertainment for my liking. Hell, you can't even chose you own name for that matter. In defense of wizzard 101, they target young audience, most likely 10-16 so complain about the game from a 20-30 years old people like me is pointless. |

At frist I was thinking Pox Nora or Dreamloards, but I'm not totally sure if they are exactly what you are looking for. Both involve strategy and I know PoxNora does have the trading/collect of M:tG. As for dreamlords, I can't remember too much about this game, though. But, a quick skim of their homepage told me that it "is a unique mix of Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG) and Real Time Strategy (RTS)" |
