It has been a long and agonizing road from AoC, to WAR and back to WoW. I have even contemplated spending $300 for a lifetime subscription to LOTRO, but decided against a 2 year commitment before aquiring the benefits.

I have played all three realms in DAoC but I think I will return to Hibernia once again. Something about magic candy mountains and unicorns prancing through mushroom towns of happiness that just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. That and I want to give Enchanter another go and see how much fun RvR is today.

Currently downloading the client as I don't have my CDs available, so it will be a while. Depending on how long the download takes, I may even change my mind and play a Ranger or Nightshade instead, heh.

To Arms!

Last week after trying almost every other game on the market I have returned to DAoC as my main mmorpg after a 2 year "vacation", I've realized I still enjoy it as much now as I did when I started, which for me is reason enough, it left me wondering why I ever left,  its why I play mmorpgs, to enjoy myself. Even If I have the newest FOTM game, because its the thing to do and i'm not enjoying myself its defeating the purpose.

I returned to ALB!!!!!! hehe Damn Hibs :) Something about the rolling green hills and land of chivalry, knights and wizards brought me back =)

Alb has called another hero home =)

I'll be playing on the Classic servers, cause I dare not go back to ToA even though they pretty much simplified that whole mess. You are right about DAoC always being fun, cause RvR NEVER got boring. I think Mythic has no clue how cool of a game it is that they have nestled away in the back of their heads. They seriously need to redivert their attention to DAoC and put WAR on pause or something.
