Fed up with the rubbish performance in war with my current machine especially since 1.2 so ive plumped for a new machine . Found this from mesh which on paper looks quite good (I think) however i welcome opinions on this spec machine for a cool £800 (may go for the sli mode mobo for an extra £60 but unsure) AMD Phenom™ II X4 920 Quad Core Processor AM2+ Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium with Service Pack 1, 64-bit - English NZXT HUSH Silent Brushed Aluminium ATX Midi Tower - Black + 550W PSU ASUS M3A78 AMD Socket AM2+ Phenom ATX Mainboard 8192 MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM - (2x 2GB) 500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive with 16MB Buffer Samsung 22x Dual Layer DVD Writer Super Format +R/-R/RW/RAM 512MB ATi HD4850 Graphics accelerator - DVI, DirectX 10.1 PCI Express 2 22" Iiyama ProLite E2208HDS-1 (1920x1080) Full HD Monitor (DVI,VGA,WS,Spkrs - 5ms) 52-in-1 Multi-format Memory Card Reader - (Internal) 7.1 High Definition onboard sound card - for 8 Channel Cinema sound Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.

A couple of things I find help most people: 1) If you had a beta / early access client, uninstall it, install the retail client (from the dvd, or download the free trial one). 2) Make sure directx is up to date. 3) Turn graphics to high, turn off shadows, AA. Turning graphics to low actually performs worse.

A couple of things I find help most people:
