Is anyone else getting alot of spyware from this site?? I dont know if it is jsut a coincedence or not but since they ahve changed the format I have got 3 different trojans from here in the last month.........Today I just got trojan.vundo just by clicking a forum link.......I've enjoyed posting here and have learned alot from everyone but I think its time to move on....The amount of spyware here is jsut out of control and I'm tired of having to clean it up.......I know it is coming from here as i dont visit many other sites......Good luck to everyone and I hope that none of you are having the same issues with the spyware that I am.

I don't think I've ever gotten spyware from this site.

Download and run Asquared and CCleaner.

Between the two of those and a decent antivirus (NVG Free just doesn't cut it, sorry.  Try NOD32, it's awesome and doesn't eat up your system resources), you should see the spyware disappear.

Fanboi is not a word, it is just bad grammar.

Maybe it is dingo dogs trying to get your baby...

Or Richard Garriott getting money to make Tabula Rasa 2...

Or SOE trying to get your personal information!

I personally have had no problems on this site.

I'm with you, people should quit besmearching porn!

--Though I have never gotten spyware from downloading "liberated from leaglistic draconian copy rights laws" music either  (Illegal just sounds too harsh to me)

In any game, all the gear and loot is worthless compared to the moments and companions you find.

Nothing malicious has been gained from the site for me.

I wish I could say the same about my ex, but that dear friends, is a completely different tale altogether...

Yes, all the time.

When I leave this site I run my spyware program and it always cleans off the same 6 or 7 items. Kasperski also alerts me when I am on this site and it detects a keylogger program.

Matter of fact, the keylogger alert just went off about 3 minutes ago (lol).

Yeah, it's those keyloggers that keep me coming back.

Strange I also run Kapersky and have never had an alert from this site and hope it stays that way :)

If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

Many cookies show up as "infected items" these days and most are used to track the sites you use for demographics and are harmless (for the most part). We all get cookies here and they always show up in my spyware scans (Spyware Doctor) and are removed without a problem. I've never had any troubles with any of the AV software I use alerting me to "keyloggers" or anything else here and I use a variety of them just to be extra safe (Malwarebytes, PCTools, AVG and a couple others).

The only instance I have ever seen here of malicious intent was a SQL Injection affecting the clientside in the Java scripting some months ago when the net was crawling with a major outbreak. The Admins here responded to it immediately and removed the item. This is one of the most responsible sites I've ever used and I have no fears of being here whatsoever.
