Hi Global Agenda forumers, I was just wondering how we can help to promote this game and get other people interested. I want this game to be a success, because frankly there hasn't been a good MMOFPS since planetside.

not sure. I would have throught people would be interested there are some great videos and everyone says its a great game.

isn't plantetside the only mmofps ever?

idea: someone with talent could make a really smexy signature.

 I like the idea of getting the word out, but without some kind of time line til launch, it's hard to get people very excited imo.

For now I think the best thing to do is spread the excitment word of mouth, and get as many people to apply for the pre-beta on the official site as possible.

Its not a FPS, its all Third Person. If you are looking for Planetside 2, move along. If you watch the video in Cons sig, you will see he says, MMO "action" game.

 i'd still say a third person shooter was a FPS, its a genre even if its not technically true. games with leveling in them are called RPGs because its a genre, not because they are for roleplaying.

I guess you are hinting its different to planetside in another way to the camera angle. its like saying i know a secret.

Id be interested in hearing that tasty bit of info. As a huge fan of Planet Side this game def has my interest.

Looks pretty slick and the video teaser is quite nice.  I love the whole concept but if its too silo as far as missions vs players go then I probably won't be interested.  I need a reason to fight so if I had to protect a territory with the rest of my clan then I would be very interested. 

I think it will gain momentum as more news comes out but a general date e.g. q4 09 or anything would go a long way.

Yeah I guess when they start having more vids they may get some more press. Also thanks for the correction, its not an MMOFPS. However, aside from the viewpoint being behind the character, I think this comes more closely into line with planetside than with wow in terms of everything else.

Looks like a Tabula Rasa type game but a lot slicker.  I just hope its not too one sided and leaves out other elements of the game like crafting etc.

More like Team Fortress 2 than anything else, but you are right its not a WoW clone.

Been checking every other day to see if there is any new news, and already told all my fps gamer friends about it. Hoping it turns out to be fun.

Is it really? TF2 does not have a persistent world. You play a round, capture a few points or the intel then it is over. Also the levels are pretty small compared to the large world Global Agenda seems to have. Are you saying that Global Agenda battles will have certain limiters such as 16v16 and the battlefields will have limited size? I hope not.

 I think he meant it as more of a class based shooter.

So take the core of class based FPS, marry it with a MMO and the love child is Global Agenda.

The battles themselves will. Then again, so do the ones in wow, Lotro, daoc, and most other games.

The game as a whole, however, will not be limited.

Haha I am trying.  Been spreading the word about this through my local gaming venues.  Looks amazing.

I would like to point out the game Face of Mankind to all of you. This game offers nothing that hasn't been done before, although i will give it the fact that it mainstreamed more then FoM, Player run action MMO is what FoM is, it has factions that create a political aspect, a completely player run economy, and a FPS aspect to it that is in 3rd person as well the difference is in this game is getting better items and leveling if i'm correct, where as FoM is all skill based, i believe you guys should look into that game as well as this one althought i cant promise anyone will like FoM due to the complexity of the game. None the Less this game is fairly appealing, even though it isn't very origional in my opinion.

I would like to point out that FoM was a failure. And from everything known so far, it will remain the same failure with its "new" incarnation, except now it will be free.

As for Global Agenda, I have no real opinion on it at this time. Doesn't look like anything other than another run-of-the-mill mmorpg, but we'll see what happens.

The game looks pretty interesting. It looks as if this is what Tabula Rasa should have been. I just signed up for the beta so we shall see what happens.

I would like to see some good marketing even viral marketing. Im not just talking about banner too. We need some good Alpha/Beta Clan Sites up too.
