Hi, I just got the game and the login scree says queuing.
It says:
EU-1 New character
Do I just click on that and when it goes through it will give me the option of making a character? What are the average wait times for this right after a big sale? |

Right now the servers are down. So, you can't make a character. Your best bet is to keep the launcher/lobby open and watch the NEWS tab to see when the servers come back up (a good way to avoid queue times). When I got the game, my account was activated within an hour, probably closer to 1/2 hour. |

servers are down and supposedly they are adding to the server capacity, or optimizing it. w/e.
hopefully no more hour long queues, cause thats just rediculous. I am 100% addicted but waiting that long to play, or after being d/c'd is not gonna fly for long.
update :: servers just came up as I posted this :) we shall see... |

The problem with the queues is that nobody ever logs off. When you are done playing, you find a safe spot and macro a skill while you sleep. Probably half the people taking a 'spot' are not actually playing, they are sitting in a town unattended macroing. |

Queuing can be anywhere from 10 sec to 4 hours+. |
