Im sorry but I have been attempting to buy this game now since it released, and now im worried it was an utter waste of time. If I cant even purchase a friggin game from a company, then how in the hell are their servers/support staff/GM's going to hold up? Im sorry but this is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen, a developer sold out of a download... Its long enough past release for these idiots to get over their technical problems. I understand its a indie company, but denying your customers? wtf I have played EVERY MMO |

They don't have the resources to support anymore people. It is true that they cannot be sold out of digital copies, they can be sold out of available space on a server. It's a Jeep thing. . .

At first I agree'd with this idea on making sure they don't have issues by overloading the servers, but now I think this has gone on to long they have plenty of people who want to get in, why not open more servers. This is just pure lack of professionalism at its best. I hope this isn't what we would expect in the future, but you can't help but think "Adventurine" doesn't have a clue on how to release a product. You can have a bad launch which is expected, but this takes the cake.

It's updated on forums in the section "News", though.

I think it is more lack of money. My guess is that they open up another server as soon as the game been out a month. Avi might have been really broke at release, otherwise they would have twice their capacity by now. |

Sadly Aventurine didn't have the hardware infrastructure for a full scale launch, best guess is that the single server farm they have can hold about 10,000K active players and it looks like they are slowly adding more users to validate / stress test it. They should reach capacity within a week with the current sales they are doing.
The limited release has caused a ton of problems from frustrated users that wanted to try the game, to Guilds that have been fragmented when only 30% of their members were lucky enough to get accounts. It is obvious that they will need to release new servers shortly and honestly I would save yourself the aggravation and wait for the limited release "Pay to Beta" phase to complete and start on a fresh server free of the standard exploits and unfair advantages that plagued the EU1 server. The game is still rough around the edges but it is great fun, and will be much better once they push through the first batch of major bug fixes.

When one of the 16 people the server can support gets banned for macroing, a spot will open. OP, you just have to be patient. They are sold out of available server space only. |

Do you ever get the feeling youre being watched... |
Yup, and all the DF fanboi's in the world can't excuse the absolute joke this release has turned out to be... I am sorry, but this release is a direct reflection on the company and how the game will be supported...which does not bode well... |

I agree. But just to add on.You have these Fanbois trying to get in.And when they do get in, they get caught for cheating.Hey fanbois if you going to cheat in DF and blow $50 why bother playing? LMAO...Yup the game is so great they have to revert to hacking/cheats...Never trust a Fanbois review... I might not be all ways right, but i am never wrong.. |

Well here are two things I have found out about DF this morning, and why I will now officially stay away. Just watched some PvE (2 dragon battles) and I must say the monster AI is rly rly scarily bad (as expected) but the player strategy is retarded....I mean talk about a boring, no brainer "epic" fight. Also from the main player base, it seems that everyone, and i mean EVERYONE HAS to use cheats and stam/speed hacks to compete against other guilds (using the same cheats) IF you dont cheat you get pwned.... How sad... I have played EVERY MMO |

Increase the Price per month by 10$ so the developers can buy a new server. |

I have tried 2 times and got it today. I know this game is going to be an utter joke but I wanted to watch the show and fireworks. Only USA can make a decent long lasting MMORPG. |

Or Japan, Or Korea, or...... But yeah, eventually you'll get a chance to get in OP, but what you really have to ask yourself, is, "Do you feel lucky punk? Well, do you?" unprofessional is an understatement. There is def. a lot of people that are wiling to give this game a try, but who wants to sit at a sold out screen just to get in game and pay to beta test it ....FAIL |

The real joke today is they 'implied' (obviously didn't actually give a specific time) that the shop would open at 4pm. So I sat there and checked until about 10 past and guessed they were just going to go back to the 7pm time. NO, what they were going to do was open it at 4:15ish? What a joke. Why not just put the shop times on the Website isn't that the point of having one? To communicate with you customers? If they want to save some cash close the site because atm its a waste. ----- Everything that has a begining, has an end. |

Think your pissed cause you can't get in?
imagine how you will feel when you do log in and some moron with a speed/stam hack rapes you before you realize he is there and that is after you wait in queue to get on the server.... honestly if the sold out issue has you buggin, do you really want the full darkfall experiance as it is right now?
wait a few months until they get the situation under control is my best adivce |

That which surrounds you, becomes you. |
I have a slightly different perspective. If the company releasing this game is poor, I'm hopeful they can work their way out of this situation. I can imagine how difficult it would be with mere pennies in your pocket, trying to bring up a game you developed, one in which you feel is really good if it had the backing of a company like Blizzard. In all truth, AV might have a game that gets bought out by a bigger company. What if, for example, SOE or Funcom bought the source code and rights. All of a sudden, the single server problem would drift away. If the game is having problem only because they are out of money...I know for a fact that enterprising companies would be flexing their fingers to make a buck off it. ----------------------------- |
