Are you guys what I am thinking ?  Is this real, Aion to be released by May 26, 2009 ?

Nope, that is just a placeholder date.  Right now we are looking at a Q4 release in NA.

omg $70 buck for the game, plus monthly fee, they just price themselves where now people who want to try will think twice or wait until 6 months after the launch when the price goes down.  I truly hope this price includes 3 months of game time

I know I not going to pay $70 for a game then  pay a monthly fee 30 days later.

Once again, this is nothing but a placeholder.  I can guarantee you the game will be $49.99 when it is released.

If it is $70 and in this economy I think alot of people will stay away from it just for that fact and that so many games released recently  had people  generally felling a little burnt by.

Aoc was a disaster, and people left in droves. War is floating but subscriptions dropped and are nowhere near what they probably expected, Wow is , well wow.

I think peoples expectations  are high and rightfully so, and after the last few games not really delivering the experience we are really craving, and just more of the same ol' , people are a little more cautious as to what kind of quality is being put out there..

70$ for a collector's edition is rather standard. You're not taking into account the game is already released, you don't need to do guessing games here.

As anticipated as this game is, people will spare the $70.

I just ordered my collectors edition from Amazon UK for a measly sum of £17.99!($24)

Seems a bit low, oh well.. i aint gonna complain.

I've always been a sucker for CE copies. I just ordered 2 of em' and was given this msg after the order:

"Shipping estimate: June 1, 2009 "

Btw, you don't get charged until they ship the game, so reserving a CE copy now would be a good idea if that's your thing. You can always cancel later or sell on eBay after they are all sold out. Actually, I've ended up getting the CE's for nearly free, as they always sell for either twice or three times as much when they are sold out (when release of game is near). Reserve two, sell one or both, then use that money to pay for your own copy :)

In Korea yes, I highly doubt that NCsoft will use the same plan here in NA/Europe.
