Holy shit this thread is long! YAY FOR LINKREALMS. Not gonna lie, they have one of the best developer teams I've ever played for. They really love the game and the community.

i took a brief hiatus (midterms, ick), but ill try and keep it updated again 

Game is great.. community is helpful.  Very great sandbox game.

anyone know when they will be inviting more players, I'm not playing any mmorpg atm and I really wanna give this a try (I love sandbox games, played swg for 2.5 years)

All i got to say about this game is pure awesome. Testing it right now. Obviously the animations rule ass but just the way everything flows together make this a perfect sandbox, from the map creater skin creator no levels just skills and strategy this game is straight pwwwwwwwwwn. I was slaying skeles and ghosts in a dungeon and before i knew it i must have pissed something off because a giant bone dragon formed from an out of nowhere whirlwind and starting stomping my ass. Luckily for me i am awesome and destroyed his bony ass and looted his booty.

I suggest if you want to play you keep the link realms site in your favs and look at it from time to time. I got lucky when they opened the gates because it was closed like 2 mintues later. Dont wait for others to tell you its open because chances are by the time you hear about it the gates will allready be closed.

you should! The devs are implementing a new pet system shortly.

 make a thread when its open beta or out and i'll give it a try. looks kind of crap but could be fun to play.

It seems simple looking at first. It is fun to play though...animations are well done. Many Items that affect your look.  Skills grow depending on what you use....again..pretty fun to play.

So heres my questions:

1. What time nowadays does it open for registration if at a set time at all?

2. Can I use firefox to see it become open?

3. Are there any shapeshift or druid like magics?

At first I was skeptical, but after watching the video and reading comments, im sold.

I can't wait to try it.

1) from my expirience it is usually around 6-7 PM EST

2) yes

3) not that i know of, though only 2 of the 4 magic fields are currently in game as far as i know

Im curious though, can you rotate the camera view or is it locked in a single position only allowing you to zoom in and out just like Ultima Online?

You can only zoom the camera in and out.....camera angle is fixed like UO.

 It is very old-schoolish, but fun as hell and addictive. If you're expecting a graphical 3D power-house this game is not for you.

Just read the 35 pages and wow! The game sure looks promising. Most of the feedbacks are positive, something you rarely see on this website.

Do they still open up their registration page or have they switched to invite only mode (which pretty much obliges me to ask for one) ?

Just keep checking in on the registration page. They havn't moved to a invite only mode. They open it up on the hours. check around 5:00pm 7:00pm, on the hours. Thats usally when they open the doors.

I got in at 6:01pm, and 3 of my friends got in at 5:01pm. I have also saw it open up at 2:00pm and earlier, but its usally always on the hour.

Which is entirely ironic because the game (according to the devs) is barely complete. It's like 50% complete. They are still going to add pets (the smartest ones in the genre w/ growth, equipment, mating, breeding, etc) and player-created dungeons and quests.
