I've read that Darkfall has had a pretty rocky start. Huge problems with billing and everything. Yet some people seem to love the game and say it has awesome PvP.

I've been thinking about trying it out myself after the dust settles. I'm looking for a good PvP game and Age of Conan is not that.

Aventurine seems like a shady company (like Funcom) but if they give us a good product, then I'm happy to pay for it.

 I have been keeping an eye on Darkfall for some time.  However I am reading that it is not a game that was ready for release.  Same as AoC in my opinion (a game I watched tirelessly since 2005).

The difference from what I can see from the screenshots and videos is that AoC is a fair superior game and going to Darkfall would be two steps back.

I left AoC in the early months and went back to other MMOs including Warhammer when it was released.  In my opinion, since AoC is now on the path to recovery, the other MMOs are all a few steps back from the combat and general all around experience of Age of Conan.

 Your poll is incomplete. You assume people will leave AoC.

As most who know me here im not a very big fan of Funcom and AOC but anyone with any sense would not leave AOC for Darkfall it is not at all ready for release and you can tell it by whats being posted.

Are you saying Age of Conan is the best game ever and will stay that way until the end of time?

Of course something better will come up eventually. There should be a couple of interesting releases this year and next year Guild Wars 2 is coming out which will probably steal most of the PvP players from other games, including AoC.

you make it sound as darkfall is a good game lol have you taken a look at it your self or have you just listend to those bots that say they love the game? the game is a failure everything is poorly done specialy for 8 years aswell looks like you shit your pants while walking and combat is click click click and that it looks worse then morrowind a game maded many many years ago gg fail poll

Darkfail doesnt really seem like the game that will make you quit ... or perhaps thats just me.

Darkfall reminds me of playing 007 on my N64....... Failed funkin game. it's 2009 put some shine on that turd

i myself have been following Darfall a bit since i heard of it. I quit AoC about 5 months ago, but i may make a comeback soon because of all the positive things i have been reading through the forums on players feedback. New content added, new players. former players coming back. Yes Funcom released a product not finished when it launched but it seems to have come a long way in the almost 10months since release. In addition a better game than AoC? Another one  that i have been following recently is a new MMO coming later in the year in the states. Which is Aion : The Tower of Eternity(recently launched in Korea). This one i believe will be better than Darkfall by a lot. But for now i think AoC is from what others have said in this forum and AoC forums..."game is now how it was suppose to be at launch."  If AoC keeps improving i may end up staying with AoC, and hopefully they keep up the good work and somehow get more old players that quit months ago to come back or get new players coming in.

I am still waiting for a good single player game to come out since 2004. And with regards to MMO's, I don't think something will come along and sweep me up anytime soon (unless it's a REALLY GOOD zombie survival mmo).

Basically, yes, I am saying that AoC is the best MMO for me and will probably stay that way for way too long.

I cannot stand games with shitty lores and random artwork like guild wars, so I steer clear of those. It might be hard for you to understand, seeing as you don't strike me as a very reflective person, but other people have different opinions and fancies different things. I cannot play a game where I don't manage to immerse myself, and guild wars is a game where that won't happen for example.

  incomplete options on the poll, but as you have seen, so far tose that have actually expressed their opinion wouldn't leave Aoc to go to DF, and some wouldn't leave AoC as they find it fun.

  Biased poll options still give you the same result, believe it or not a lot of people like AoC, lot of people are willing to try it again  out of the positive word of mouth players that actually have tried it lately give to it, several have returned and are enjoying it, and several that quit for different reasons don't think DF is a reason to quit AoC.

  I plan to try DF later on after (if) they sort out  all the problems thay have now, but for what i have seen and read i don't think i'd leave AoC or any other game i would be having fun with for it, not my cup of tea as it seems to be, even tho several conceptual elements are rather interesting.

  There should also be an option for people that plan to play both.

Another fail thread made to single out AoC.No other polls on WAR,WoW,etc forums so all their players must be staying and no one leaving for Darkfall

Should have been posted in the Darkfall forums using the question  "Are you leaving your current MMO to play Darkfall?".

Returned to AoC a week or so ago and am really happy about the improvements, if the game had realeased in this state I never would have left in the first place. I wouldnt leave ANY game for a game that has as bad graphics and animations as Darkfall, I still wish them GL & happy ganking to all that like it!

If Dark Fall doesnt implode in the next 6 months ill consider taking a second look at it.  til then

Aoc is absolutely awsome, best graphics out there, combat system is the best out there as well, and the quests/raids and pvp is all i am looking for in a game, Darkfall..whats that?

I quit AoC in the beggining mostly because several of my friends left the game to go back to wow and I was already playing the game for several months in closed beta.

Made the decision this last week to come back to the game and I'm extremely happy with the current state of the game. So the poll should have an option for people that won't leave AoC for another game.

Darkfall doesn't appeal to me at all.

Darkfail offers nothing substantial, and a lot more headaches from a newb game from newb devs...

Darkfall is just starting to feel like a punchline.
