I am not entiely sure if this would fit into a rumor section or not if it does not please feel free to move it somewhere else, but I had heard little bits and pieces of something about white wolf teaming up with the people that made EVE and making an either vampire online game or a just general world of Darkness.

If anyone can tell me anything more about anything of this topic I would really apreichate it I would love to find out more on this information if at all possible.

White Wolf are now owned by CCP games iirc and it is WOD that they are developing

Used to play tabletop, then LARP, then ran a large LARP (talk about herding cats).. and yet... when White Wolf decided to reboot the franchise and change everything, I could muster up the effort to relearn everything. Overwriting over a decade's worth of information on a fictional world with new, slightly different information just seemed like too much.

I don't think I can work up much enthusiasm for an online version of this WoD v 2. 

Another rumor is that the ambulation that is coming to EVE is a test ground for the WOD!

i think it's better (the newer system and setting) for an MMO, the way powers work and the streamlining of things.  Also taking some weight off the metaplot.

  Metaplot form the OWoD was too well known, people knew it all, this time we can be surprised by the setting.  It's also been stated that the game is not gonna be just a pnP game translated into an MMO, it's gonna be an MMO based on the PnP game and lore, i have similar feelings towards the NWoD as yours, but i'm completely willing to give CCP and WW the benefit of doubt on this one.

  This should be the second modern day based game with roots on the supernatural and horror (TSW form FC -should- be released before, as CCP stated they would enter proper development of the game this month) and in a market flooded with Fantasy with some Sci-Fi titles i think they have a good chance (both CCP's WoD Online and FC's TSW) of getting a nice dedicated market, time will tell.

I played tabletop for about 3 years and LARPed in Chicago when I was still in the US. Those were good times. I played mainly Vamp the Masquerade. How about you? It would be interesting to see what CCP does with WoD. I hope though that the system became more equitable in subsequent versions of the game between the different supernatural creatures. Vampires were so weak in comparison to Magi, Werewolves, and Changelings. Plus, Wraiths were a little odd in how they worked...

I remember dreaming and designing a WOD MMO full with all systems in a crossover right after playing GTA 3.

I hope a mage dosen't read that, I wan't to continue existing.
