Fippy is a joke compared to the almighty noob pwnzor Nillipuss. He even sings limericks on dead noobs' corpses. And he alsways keep my Jum Jum fix humming.

Minsc says, "Go for the eyes, Boo!  Go for the eyes!"

Minsc says, "Don't teach my hamster to suck eggs!"

Minsc says, "Hamsters and rangers everywhere!  Rejoice!"

I use skooma so that I can work harder and longer and make more money so I can buy more skooma. I don't see a problem.

Oh man Nillipuss was a bad mofo. I remember his earring and ring rewards were so prized back in the day.

I also remember  Ambassador Dvinn from Crushbone being a bad ass and killing everyone when trained to the zone.

I loved Minsc as well.

But if we are talking MMOs. I like Nillipus and Dorn alot but i think my favorite has to be Boomba the Big. Did anyone actually buy his pickles?

I'll throw my votes in for Boomba the Big and Fippy. They were fun.

Nilipus was a bastard. I hated that little runt and was happy when  I was finally able to kill him.

Jon Irenicus, closely follwoed by Saemon Havarian (stitch-up merchant) from Baldurs Gate 2.

The break out from Spellhold is still one of the all time classic pieces of dialogue from any rpg I've played.

David Warner (star from the original Omen film) was perfectly cast as Irenicus.

I would say Velinde Starsong for pretty much the same reason (except for the not shutting up part, since she doesn't do a whole lot of talking); I just feel bad for her, and it was a fun quest-line!

My pick go to Stolt Jensenberg in Anarchy Online, but that's just cause he's a stab at the loser we got governing our country at the moment and the retarded politicial party he got at his back and it proves Funcom got some strong politicial views now and then and ain't afraid to joke around with it. Only norwegians will get their jokes though.

Outside the mmo world, I would go for HK-47 from the Kotor games. That homicidal droid is hilarious and got some clever dialogue to boot

Probably Jan Jansen from BG2, or as stated many times before, Boo, the miniature giant space hamster.

Don't forget to raise me...aargh.

Greetings, everyone. Sorry, no gifts or souvenirs this time but I'll keep you all in mind the next time I'm gone. Oh, Keldorn: the gods say 'hi' and that you should wash your underwear more thoroughly. Everyone ready? Let's go adventuring

Subscribtions: WOW, EVE, WAR, DDO, VG, AOC, COV, FFXI, GW, RFO
+plenty of F2P, betas, trials

On my radar: Earthrise, DF, Mortal Online, JG: Evolution
Female Dwarf player: WOW, VG, WAR, DDO
.
Due to the recent economic crisis and spending cuts the light at the end of the tunnel was turned off. Sincerely, God.

Captain Placeholder (WoW), for one....yes.  There's even a music video dedicated to him, done in WoW machinima style.  Hilarious.

Fippy Darkpaw (EQ2), absolutely.  As a young Qeynosian, he struck terror in my heart and I RELISHED the slaughtering of gnolls because of HIM.

Lady Sylvanas (WoW Undercity Leader).....can't explain entirely WHY, but I have ALWAYS loved her throughout all of the game's lore and past Warcraft games.  Sylvanas Windrunner is just....a goddess.  LOL

Don't have a favorite in LotRO yet....give me a few months. :)

---------------------
After having played most major MMOs on the market, I am presently waiting to see what game developers will do with the genre. In the meantime, I have returned to EQ2 and single player RPGs. I support games of all genres. Every gamer should have a game they truly enjoy.

Although he was actually a character in your party, Mortimer "Morte" Rictusgrin in Planescape Torment was always a favorite NPC of mine.

Tirion Fordring. A history that takes dozens op pages and is well documentated like so many Wow NPC's.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Tirion_Fordring

Old knight warrior and the governor of the Alliance principality of Hearthglen, but turned holy paladin and was one of the newly founded group of the Silver Hand in WC3.

The man lost his family and his son died too young. Lost all his posessions when he met a Warrior Orc who he became friends with.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Of_Blood_and_Honor ( short but excellent novel  by Metzen himself describing the friendship between man and orc and the hate it generates within the Alliance).

Was stripped from his forces of the Light and watched incognito the inauguration of his only son he had to leave behind. Was rehabilitated when his son died in trying to escape the SM Order.

Plays an important role in the battle against the Lich King.

-----------

-- Why? it shows the relations between Horde and Alliance and their common battle against the forces of hatred and demons.

Together with the novel Cycle of Hatred an excellent view of how complicated the Warcraft universe and lore are compared to the rather "simplistc" black/white views of Middle Earth and Warhammer.

In Warcraft the evil is within and everyone has to battle it. No one is safe.

The first chapters of Cycle of Hatred and the complete novel of "Of Blood and honor" are on par with some of the excellent Weis and Hickman books on DragonLance. It reminds me of some Middle Earth chapters where the fellowship first meets Aragorn as Strider in a dark atmosphere.

Reading the books and then reading and meeting those same places and NPC's gives me the creeps.

//// But of course no one reads the books and questlines //// :)))
