How much you wanna bet.... Let's say 15 people cancelled yesterday.... they open up shop.. take 15 orders.. then shut down again... ha. Repeat daily as required.

And the most funny part is that there are idiots who will refresh the hell out of it to just buy a game that they will quit in a few days. |

Many people have canceled. But more are interested in buying than there are canceling, I think is a safe bet. |

Actually the game population seems pretty healthy we add between 3 to 5 new guildmates a day in game. Last count there are over a 250 guilds in game, Account populations should be roughly over 8000. But they have blocked the ability to check now. We have another 60 people trying to buy and get in game. We've had one person quit the game out of 50+ in our guild that are in game. The main reason they quit was they did not get the PvP aspect of the game and the rough environment they did not quit because they had an issue with AV they were just bad at PvP and could not understand the skill system. Sure they suck at account management and PR. But I have had a blast playing other then day 1 which sucked for everybody in game except the exploiters. In a few months I think they will be able to flesh out a nice niche base to support a couple of servers in the EU and the US. Its still not a game for everyone.

Given the demand and artifical supply.. people leaving might very well choose to profit from there mistake of purchasing the game. |

Yep, that is exactly the reason why accounts are going for 200+ a pop (who is honestly dumb enough to spend that on an account I will never know) Supply and demand, if you have something with low supply and high demand you can always name your price. Just like smokes at a prison. High demand for a pack of smokes, low supply, so you gotta pay the price for them. We ALL know what that means..... |

Reminds me of a flaky house of horros type thing. Come right in.. exit here. Post critical thought on our forums and dissapear ! Still if they do this, the first free month means people that stopped playing should be able to log on. We might start seeing performance problems towards the end of the month ? That said since AV did not stress test the hardware, they probably have no idea of the number of concurrent players. Though I am sure Tasos will pull some BS out of his [cut] |

well, I wasnt going to buy the game when released, but I think they just can't handle too many accounts. So please guys give them money so they can get some profit (pfft) and expand their data center. This has been the biggest joke in MMO history. We are not living in 1992 anymore you know. |

that has nothing to do with how popular the game is. it has to do with how stupid people are to spend money on a third rate game ______________________________ In memory of Sir Ladyflower Ironforge- Laura "Taera" Genender 1986-2008 R.I.P. |

Curious, now why do you suppose they took this action. I always view such moves with suspicion, I remember when Funcom did it with AOC, and it was not for the players benefit. Oh well, back on topic, I'm sure there's plenty of demand, and while I'm sure a few have quit as its not their type of game, I doubt there will be a shortage of players any time soon.
