Lol. The servers have been up and done so much because of all the patches he's adding. Last one, as what i know, added faction camps of some of the zones which is pretty sweet, it prolly also added other things too.

I would love to see this game to bother the big games even a little lol. This game is really good and is worth the down time.

Watched some of the videos and I must say, I'm very impressed. I can't wait for this to go live.

you along with me and a shit load of other people, and right now when the game is really released it will be free to play, and a premium version that you can pay for that  he's not sure what included in that yet lol.

Also, im just wondering for those who have played Darkfall and tried this is this like Darkfall?(besides the fact that Realmlords isn't full loot, RL is in 3rd person the whole time, and that RL is free) Because RL is pvp everywhere in the game you can attack anyone/creature in the game. There can be massive battles once there's more people playing. RL's world is open, so dungeons and the entire world is open instead of instanced. RL does have levels but it's skilled to, It's kind of half and half. Because you decide what stats your char gets as he advances in the game. So is darkfall like this?(im not trying to say anything bad about how they might be similar)

Its a shame, i really miss the EQ1 Necro and the ability to equip my pets, i also LOVED MoM's implementation of their Pets system.

As for DarkFail, no comparison. DarkFail has the worst community i have ever seen not to mention its nothing more than a gank-a-fest for looting, if you think WoW can be childish then DarkFail is off the charts even more so with their silly l33tz0rz chatting.

Pets are not needed in any game, unless you have a ranger/hunter class which are week without them.

they may not be needed, but it's good to have class variety.

With the hybrid classing in this game, wont you think that would be realy hard to manage?

Suppsoedly, but if you try to log in any characters it sits there on "please wait" and never loads any of them. Getting tired of wasting my time trying to give them game a chance.

It works for me and lots of other people, does your system meet the requirements?

I never seem to be able to get on :P

It is either patching the server is down or my patch files can't be verified.

What luck eh.

It always says "error verifying patch" Is there a way to stop this from happening?

How could anyone be below the requirements, unless they just hooked a monitor to their kitchen toaster?

* Windows XP
* 512 RAM
* video card with 128megs

Even if you got it working, you'd probably get hit by a terminal bug. They had it down for a long time and then patched. Finally got in and had to patch and crap, and then I'm sitting around and stuff on the first map and then I try to leave the map. I get stuck on the "please wait this may take a moment" and it never loads. I cancel out and restart adfter waiting 10 minutes or so, now whenever i try to load that character i get the same "please wait" and it never loads. Then I made TWO different characters and I couldn't even start them. They are both stuck with a "please wait" loading screen.

Too many bugs. I wouldn't mess around with this game at all until he stops patching so much, even then i don't know. Pretty serious bug to have your entire account disabled and the game has zero tech support. Really want to risk spending any amount of time on it? I no longer do, that's for sure.

It's in the nature of a game created by one man to have zero tech support. Read the website. Worked fine for me, I had no problems today. I wouldn't judge this game like a normal funded MMO, that of which most of you are used to. Like it says on the website, if that's what you're looking for, don't even bother loggin on.

I don't have problems really when i try to play and when i do play. If I do, or someone tells me about  a bug i tell Ken(the creator of the game) and withing a couple hours or so, it's fixed. And he's taking down the servers so much because they must be taken down in order for him to patch. If you read the site you know what's happening with the game, so ease up. He's 6 months into the game and you expect it to be perfect? Really now, he's been adding a lot lately, so I'm happy. Also, he'll probably end up  reading about the bugs people are having on here, and will probably fix them.

And if you find a bug, go http://mmorpgdesign.proboards.com sign up and report the bug. It's that easy lol.

If you running under Vista you need to 'run as administrator'

I guess UO and EQ had it wrong then eh? yet they are the grandfathers of MMO's by todays standards!

Agreed. DAOC had some terrific pet classes and I loved playing every one of them.
