The new patch went bad.  Was adding content and there's some sort of issue with mobs who carry weapons.  CPU went straight to 100% server-side and sat there, but the profilers insist nothings eating cpu.

Bah!  This might be a few days.

I have not tried your game yet but I have looked at your youtube videos on the creation of your game and its was really kool. I have downloaded the Torque tutorial and have tried playing around with it abit, I always wanted to make my own game.

Bummer. I was really looking forward to hopping on! It let me download the patch and now says 'connection timed out' whenever I try to log in. I asuume that's you pluggin away at it. Thanks for all the hard work and I look forward to checking the game out when you are done!

The game was definatly made in 6 months. Looks like it, plays like it, and the client is as secure as it.

 

Can you post me some links to other games made by one guy in 6 months so I can have something to base my opninion of this game off of?

I just downloaded the client and attempted to register an account but it says something about a TCP connection and an unknown error. Anyone have any clue as to how I can fix this? I really want to beta test this game to help the guy out : D

Previously on this thread the game dev said that a patch went wrong and is going to take sometime to solve.
That's why probably the server is offline.

My only issue is pets, im a huge fan of pets!

Anyway, i know the core engine supports pets very well including equiping them, my problem is that realmlords removed that ability. I hope he at least considers adding that feature back in. Otherwise, for a one man show its actually very good work.

Not it just patched me :( so server/worlds in the select options.

Yep, I got to the Word Selection Menu. There is just no server to select right now.

www.garagegames.com: is how he made the game but he also put his own stuff in the engine too. So for all people looking to start making a game i would reccomend TGE.

either way the game is awesome for a game made in 6 months by himself. theres is a lot of respect there from me.

This is exactly the sort of game the community should be supporting. This is REAL indie development. Not the self-important crap that a certain developer has recently spewed onto the market...

For pets, he took out equiping items to them, but he made it so they were stronger and had more armor so that they can tank.


And The sever is on right now just so everyone knows.

Also, im just wondering for those who have played Darkfall and tried this is this like Darkfall?(besides the fact that Realmlords isn't full loot, RL is in 3rd person the whole time, and that RL is free) Because RL is pvp everywhere in the game you can attack anyone/creature in the game. There can be massive battles once there's more people playing. RL's world is open, so dungeons and the entire world is open instead of instanced. RL does have levels but it's skilled to, It's kind of half and half. Because you decide what stats your char gets as he advances in the game. So is darkfall like this?(im not trying to say anything bad about how they might be similar)

The Game will have a lot of problems, any game made by one person without a big buget will have problems running the games. But the game is very very good like i said for a one person game. In the end it will be good.
