Is the melee combat directional attack based>.....e.g. I am holding down forward and click attack so do a swinging attack forward and walk forward, I hold down strafe right and I click attack so I do a swinging attack to the right and am strafing right, and so on. Or is it just I am strafing right and click attack yet I still do a forward swing (basically just one swing whatever direction im going)? Thanks to anyone that can answer this. |

There is horisontal and vertical attacks, horisontal works best when fighting solo, vertical when u have players around you since friendly fire is on and you can hit them. vertical takes more skill usualy, since it needs to be more acurate |

Thers also differnt skills to attack though i have yet to see a pvp video with any of them in it. For instance after u start getting up above skill 25 in diff weps there are differnt attacks i have axe skill of 50 an di have an aoe and a knockback attack and another that drags my target to me. all these videos just look like pple forget about this shit. Most of the pple ive been killed by cant even figure out how to use the gank skill. I wasnt in beta but it didnt take long to figure this out. Yes thes skills do make a difference and ive taken out a fully plated out dorf with my neked orc ( had a rank 40 axe) but i still killed him farily easily because it seems everyone is worried more about farming gear than actualy getting skills |

Seeing as though you can get all your stats to 100 (which is one EPIC grind) you'll probably be 3-4 hitting new players, and have a pretty fast swing speed. From what i've gathered most of the trainable skills are a waste of time since the devs obviously haven't decided on what kind of templates should be in the game they've literally just copy pasted all the trainable abilites so everyone is the same. Not every spell/skill is available at the merchants, someone in IRC was saying they found one hidden in a chest in some hidden castle. Not everyone's the same. If you choose fire magic, you can't choose water. If you choose witchcraft, you can't choose spellchanting etc. |
