See, this is pretty much why I rip on Darkfall. I played UO, I played AC, I'm a huge fan of the massive virtual world, sandbox, do your own thing crazyness they're trying to do. What I'm not a fan of however is the complete amature hour joke the game has been and continues to be. The game actually looks passable, were it not for the horrible mind bending sound effects/lack of music but more importantly, the absolutely horrific company behind it. |

Yeah, forum fall is pretty much only for people who are looking to sing Kum ba ya around a campfire and not serious comparisions or discussion.

there is a perfectly logical reason they do these things and <Mod edit>, you would notice most of the time they try to contain multiple threads about the same thing into one thread. They then either delete the repeats or roll them into one thread AFTER warning people about this. most well moderated forums (read: not this one) do that. |

 . im sure that they have closed posts there that are not really troll posts but actual reviews and such. is that wrong? sure. but you must remember that no one is perfect and that stuff happens. the posts on darkfall's forums that ive seen closed is when there is 15 posts about the same topic. is that really needed? no so they have the right to limit a conversation to one or two posts not 15. i like it better that way anyways then you can get everyones opinion in a couple posts instead of being spread out all over the forum |

No. You obviously need to work on your reading comprehension skills, as you seem to have missed the point completely. Organizing the clutter is not what OP is talking about. The OP is talking about the way the official DF forums are stifling any review of the game that is not 100% "OMG DF ROXXORZ". Learn to read. Maybe you need hooked on phonics or something?

What gets me is that darkfall said that the reason you didn't see much dev responses on the boards confirming or denying anything is because they weren't going to moderate the boards. Just let anything go, good or bad. Then they realize that they made the game sound better than it was, and now they are going back on their word.
Another red flag. So far due to red flags i'm waiting for 6 months before even considering buying the game. |

Maybe thay delete posts from people that dont understand? Example WoW players that think DF is another WoW clone and get angry when its not! We see tons of those posts every day. |

I think its more that the devs and fanbots (Such as yourself) hyped this game to no tomorrow. When release rolled around, it it failed to meet the lofty claims set for it, why would you be surprised when people began to lash out? And why would anyone want another WoW? If you like WoW, you play WoW. The people who quit WoW find it boring, so they would not want another WoW. |

Actually the game met its hype its excellent. Just need to fix bugs the same bugs every mmo has when released. AV just has less people to fix it with , but they seem to be managing. If it wasnt for their downtime I probably wouldnt sleep lol.
