GTA is at it again, putting full male frontal nudiity in their game this time.

Do you want to see a big penis in your MMORPG? Or do you just want little anime girls with big swords and a thong? Is this a double standard, or the way it should be?

I've seen the sexy girls in armor in MMO's threads here. What if there were a male penis' in MMO's thread? How would you like that? I"m thinking not so much.

but  anyway  Penis is a negative in any game i would be playing.  As far as the double standards go It is the way it is for a reason, and  until im seeing pixelated puss on the screen it is NOT on the same level as a big dick. Bare breasts dont stand up to it either.

I think it would be in bad taste and certainly require a "Mature" rating to be stamped on the game.   However, if such a thing were implemented in the game, I would think that would be a strong argument for slider bars during character customization.

That friend, is the western worlds view. Our friends across the pond in Europe are much more relaxed when it comes to nudity on the screen and much more open when sex is involved, but much more adverse to violence.

I used to live in Germany. Remember the Highlander series with Duncan McCloud? Not the movies, but the series?

Anyways, to be The One, you have to be the last Immortal. And you can only kill an Immortal by chopping off his head. So in almost every episode of the Highlander, someone would get his or head chopped off. The Highlander would swing his sword, then you'd see a head rolling on the floor, or something like that.

Well, in Germany they dont' allow that sort of violence on TV, so they censor it. Sometimes there's talking while the head chopping and rolling around was going on, and the whole thing would be edited out of the show. It would leave a gap, and you'd be scratching your head, wondering what the hell just happened? Why are they back at the house now?

Then right after the Highlander, we'd watch Wahre Liebe. Tons of nudity and sex that you'd never see on American TV.

Most men have a penis, so if you see a man from the front...you will likely see a penis. Its nothing strange about that. Its the way life is. If you are afraid of penises, you can talk to a doctor or dont buy the game.

 A middle finger is just a body part.  Flipping someone the bird is symbolic.  A dick is just a dick, if I start waving it at you and gesturing that's symbolic.

Which is what waterlily doesn't seem to get. However, you don't even have to start waving a dick around and gesturing for it to be symbolic, mainly because of religious influence in today's society. Just the way things are. It's something to be ashamed of because it represents sin (whether you believe it or not, I don't care.)

When my middle finger is part of a fist, it's just a body part. When I lift it, and only it, up to your face, that's the symbol. My penis under my pants, fine, it's just another body part. When I take my pants off where people can see me, that's the symbol.

The majority being taught and following religious and sectarian beliefs for centuries doesn't make her wrong. These are parts of the human body, and we are all born naked; should be ashamed of it?. That's the only truth.

Heh, I'm known for long winded auguments in the forums,auguments that I rarely lose. I only come back to these forums when someone says something so idiotic, when thier so secure in thier, that they deserve to be put down like a sick dog.

Brutalis you have gained that honour today. Are you honestly going to tell me that you have not watched a movie where nudity was tastfully incorporated into the story, or a comedy where nudity was included as a punch line, and you were not disgusted by it? I don't walk into a public shower blanching at the full blown male nudity.  I agree that are areas where showing someone nude is inappropiate and may offend some.

But the topic of discussion is wether or not "penis's should be allowed in our mmo's" Video games are another form of entertainment, just like movies, or books. As long as it is properly labeled, if the game has a rating of M, and it lists sexual content, and if that offends you. Then do a little more research as to the content of the game.

As to your middle finger refernce, symbols and gestures have certain meanings behind them because we allow them to. We give them that power. I have never been offended by the finger. Fuck you? Not really offensive, technically fuck is synonimous with sex or screw.
