Luckily I didn't fall for the dark and light hype, and so far am not going to fall for the darkfall hype.
i believe that this game, based on the problems, (both technical and gameplay) is full of fail.
I wish all the pay- for - beta testers luck that you dont end up getting burned in the end. seriously. |

Darkfall is no way NEAR DnL... I was in the DnL beta for a long time, and as far as I know DnL had no content except combat, riding/flying different creatures, kite-flying and surfing on your shield (that was amazingly fun btw |

my comparison mainly stems from the similarity of distribution, and state of the game at release..
if i remember correctly, dark and light didnt have a retail (i.e. boxed) release in stores, and as most know had an awful time getting off the ground. (world wasnt fully populated , technical issues etc.) this just seems awfully familiar .. im not trying to dis the game in any way, just pointing out my observations, so if people really feel the overwhelming need to insult me and the horse I rode in on, thats ok...i forgive you

How can you say that about darkfail...err fall... Next thing you'll be telling me is that they will make release dates that they fail to meet...oh wait... Then you'll be saying that they will have pre orders...oh wait.... Soon you'll be trying to convince us that people that get to pre order will then be screwed out of that pre order and blamed like it's THEIR fault....oh wait.... D&L didn't die due to a bad launch as some people think. It died because the company had a very bad internal contract dispute. Sorry, I don't have a source. |

). The graphics were very good in DnL, but it was the lack of content and the huge amount of bugs that made me give up hope on it...
