I just registered a new account, because I couldn't update the billing information on the old one. However my account ID was 2831x. Is AV kidding? Can't they fucking handle 28k players? I'm sure that less than half of these created accounts managed to get an pre-order. I smell fail. |

Yup, pathetic ain't it? Aventurine is fucking sad...... Maybe I'll ask for a refun.....oh wait I can't because they also shut down every fucking thing connected to a network in their office. mIRC, forums, servers, everything. Maybe I'll check the website or account management for a way to cancel..... Nope not there either. Well I'll just have to sit and relax why they grab money from my account and give nothing in return......

Call your Visa card company and have them put a block on charges from Darkfall. ;-) They can reverse the charges that have taken place since the service is not being delivered. |

I am already in the middle of getting that ball rolling, but thx. Fact is I really don't want them having my money and using it to buy gay porn, ouzo, or whatever they are doing with our money, since apparently it isn't fixing the game. I made a thread about a refund too so I'm hoping they come here and look and see what I can manage to accomplish first. I really don't think they come here tho

Yeah, they dont have anywhere near 28K pre-orders, just registrations. Honestly, I dont know what AV was thinking...this mega-fail was inevitable with no stress testing. (Oh wait, they had "pro-testers", high tech simulators, and advanced AI to test everything. lol) |

Yet you paid them and preordered. The launch is a failiure, no doubt. ButI plan assess the game itself first. I will report if Darkfall is a failure only on the game itself is terrible MMORPG Characters immortalized! |

Originally posted by Mrbloodworth Are you claiming that there are more than 28k players? Because that's just ridiculous. I guess no more than 10k-15k actually bought the game. The user ID goes on from 100 to 28000 and this was confirmed on official DFO forums (actually the lowest there was around 1000 and the highest around 15000). Why wouldn't it be the total user count? Playing: Age of Conan, Darkfall |

you have it all wrong. 30k per server is fine. The problem is: 1) Too many human and alfar players due to hit box size (ork) and no racials for dogs. 2) All the server resources for the orcs area dont help the over populated human zones. Rerolling ork would be too hard for some. 3) Worst of all is 30k is fine when it is dived into 3, 8 hour zones - 10-20k logged in, other third is logged off and asleep. BUT everyone is logged in because we want to play 24/7 - been starving for years for this. 4) Even if some logged off to sleep - too many will afk macro while sleeping again keeping the server designed to run at 20k pops now running at 30k. Good To The Last Drop. |

I'm not calming anything, i am simply stating that account numbers in all most all other cases have nothing to do with any form of total anything. ---------- "No, your wrong.." - Random user #123 "Hello person posting on a site specifically for MMO's in a thread on a sub forum specifically for a particular game talking about meta features and making comparisons to other titles in the genre, and their meta features. Lol you've created a second account but naturally you assume the other 28k are non duplicates. Genius.

He isn't going to ask for his money back once the servers are back up and he can log into the game. Maybe after he gets pk'd and looted or the servers go back down he will return to his rant about wanting his money back. It will then subside again once he can relog and play some more. Its a vicious cycle but he's a victim of self toolage and can't help himself. |
