Id rather pay to beta test this game then to play another WoW cloned borefest. Yesterday before synch issues started I was having more fun in this mmo than I have had in any MMO in years.

To be honest its part our fault for demanding the game be realsed asap and part because AV had no more money.

So I ask you, want a good MMO thats actually fresh then play this, pay for this beta and get this game to be the best it possibly can be so we are not all stuck playing the same game with new skin on top of it like we have been the last however many years of MMO's.

And to al the Darkfall haters why? Why come post here about it. Makes no sense. Never have i had the urge to go post on forums of other game because i didnt like it. What sad pathetic boring lives you must have to spend any amount of time hating on a game. Oh wait thats right your bored becuase every mmo has been the exact same for years.

I played beta and trust me in about 2 weeks (or there abouts) when the novelty of the brilliant map wears off and when the novelty of fighting like benny hill and ganking people wears off it will suddenly seem like a very empty and boring game.

In fact eventually you'll think, 'hold on this is just essentially a massive tech demo for their map' thats actually what the game feels like, the mechanics for the rest of it are so unbalanced and gimped and easy to exlpoit its not even funny.

I'm very happy you were able to buy your way into a game beta.  I'm even more thrilled for you that it is a game of a type you really want to play.   I would not feel nearly as happy for you if it was a Sims Online clone because that doesn't seem to be a gaming style you would enjoy.

Why would a rational person pay to play an oblivion code with no content? 

With the synching issues it's very much like an empty oblivion, so a lot of people would probably be better off at the moment playing a mod.

I guess some people are just easily amused.

Sure thing bucko, ask hellmoob, or Nick Larking or Viluin or any of the LOD guys who ganked me (was funny) when i started playing, PM me your email and ill forward you my beta invite... i DID play and joined to counteract the fanbois posting utter crap here which was totall lies about the state of the game, i dont like to see people tricked into buying a gimped game.

Then why have I been in the beta for 2 months and still have a blast?  Maybe that's just your opinion?  And people maybe shouldn't just "trust you" on whether or not they will like it?

            They are just failing more and more because they cannot stop us having fun. And that will be annoying them we are invulnerable to shitty forumn tactics.

Thats all nice, but not possible. The problem for many people is that they can't play, not even if they would want to pay for beta testing.

Once the official forums come back up you'll be able to see all the proof you need.  There are quite a few Beta testers that were not happy with the direction that Aventurine went with DarkFall.

Unfortunately it is a much different game than the one described by the Dev. Journals for years.

 I was in beta with him. Although, to be fair, he was kicked out... Same as Lethn and TheFlameDeluge, though they were banned too. It's probably because the devs considered his criticism to be too harsh, which is bullshit really, since it was valid.

'Nuff proof? Honestly, calling someone a troll because you don't have a logical way to refute their statements is weak.

Because they are and I am dumb.  I payed for a product and service, none of which was received.  I received an email that the launch client is up and I payed for it.  I received confirmation that Launch Date is the 25th.  Launch date 25th?  Nope...lies.  Stable product? He was one of a couple of guys that seemed to have a totaly skewed idea of what the game was supposed to be and wanted them to change it to fit his idea. usualy involving totaly reworking key game mechanics.

Yes but they should have changed it for him and the 3 others that wanted it changed. This is what i thought well after I first thoguht he wasnt in beta at all.

what makes any game fun?

I enjoyed the group tactics, I enjoyed the city building. I enjoyed fighting the ai. I enjoyed the world design, I enjoyed being with friends. I enjoy to melee combat. I enjoy the archery. I enjoyed big wars we had. I enjoyed running around on horses. I enjoyed the exploration. I enjoyed crafting potions for my guild mates. I enjoyed the character progression as well as the guild progression.

I enjoyed the couple of quests I did that I found out in small outposts that took me all over the plact and kept on going, I never finished it.

I enjoyed the dungeons I went into.

all of these things made the game fun.

There are lots of things that need fixing, but I still enjoyed it.

can you explain exactly why you are still on a board for a game you don't like?

like the game, think the amount of guild activity will make it better then beta, but wish we had a better way to report bugs and exploits the system in place makes giving feedback a pain in the ass
