take a look at their forums when it was up they had 100k+ members, atleast use tha as an example 100k people interest... ok if we only get 30K after the game is released, wait a month reduce servers, easy... no they're running like chickens with their heads off to set up more servers and such... a problem tehy could have avoided

That is one concern I have too.

The speed hack I was reading about earlier sounded a lot like a hack used in Combat Arms that ruined that game. So many hackers speed hacking that I don't think people really play much now. I haven't checked to see if it has been fixed in CA.

Could cross over from being newbs to idiots if the client is as wide open as some are indicating. In regards to server load though, that is just a newb mistake every company has made at some point.

The rumours about a speed hack during beta were just that, rumours. A few players who didn’t know any better, saw players warping around due to synch issues and started crying cheat when they couldn’t hit their target. It has since stuck and the rumours escalated. likewise a great deal of the game is server side not client side, however, after one tester noted an item that was client side and could lead to potential exploits , stories spread like wildfire with several posts claiming the whole game was handled client side and would be a hackers paradise, exploited by every script kiddie with a text editor.
