Don't know what they expect us to do when the server is totally out of sync. Bring it down and fix it. just a waste of time watching players and mobs running in the same spot or studdering around.

Waiting for your lantern to go out since 1980.

While i'm not taking any sides in this matter, the problems going on in-game are going to happen, i must admit not being up-to-date on everything that has happened to Darkfall but it seems that they simply moved too fast for whatever reason and found themselves lacking.

problems with syncing, logging in, massive lag issues, disconnection is bound to happen.

Bound to happen if it were beta....but I paid for a launch client, was able to log-in easily 5 hours ago before the client crashed, and now stuck in a 5-hour queue.  Unacceptable I think.

You aren't playing a release copy of DFO, you're playing Alpha take 2, so stop whining.  Why, in beta we played desync fall and we loved it...

Yes it's pretty much unplayable now. I have yet to encounter a mob that is at the position where his model is. I just got a kill luckily though, was down to half HP before I managed to even find him...

They are working on a fix and then will reset the servers. Probably need to keep it in this bad state with real users hitting it so they can take memory dumps and debug the issues.

Yes, larger companies do this in Beta/Alpha.

No, they don't catch all these types of bugs until release even when they do stress test for them in Beta/Alpha. (The user base is still smaller than what it ends up being after launch)

No, I really don't care and can wait 3 months or 6 months to play. I just find it funny when anyone takes launch week, day or month off for any game - period. Don't plan your life around entertainment, plan your entertainment around your life...

If this isn't ready, do something else unless you are okay with wasting time to help AV troubleshoot their stuff.

I have a question I don't think I've really seen addressed.. Where do you go for technical/support issues?  Since their forums are down, is there an email/websupport/number any type of help/support at all that's available for those that purchased the game?  I'm guessing they have a technical help forum, but not sure of that, but that would be useless since the forums have crashed/been shut down.

I understand there will be problems but come on.....fix the bloddy sync issue. How are you suppose to playa game out of sync. Reset the server or something. They even mentioned it in a server admin message 5 hours ago that it was out of sync. Well fix it then. I paid for it now I want to play what I paid for not beta test for you on my dime.

But, according to Tasos, the game was launch ready and better than any other game at that stage back in December right? I do remember him saying something to that affect. So if the game was so perfect then, why is there a need to troubleshoot it now?

Common rookie mistake.. Overestimate quality, underestimate time to complete and generally over-hype your product.

I did this in the dating world as well when I was young. Believed everything women told me, they were just trying to get down my pants! The LIES! ;-)

As lucky as any purchase, perhaps a new car even, and driving it off the lot only to break-down in 5miles.

A lot of people here said a lot of times: "Don't preorder, wait and see", still you all people having problems now preordered, nuff said. And I'm not bashing the game, I plan on playing it If it goes well and it have good reviews.

Don't worry gentlemen, once the dev guild playing the game has their second city site secured, I'm sure they'll get back to resyncing the game....
