Can someone please alert me to where I may purchase this fine product?  

As a concerned prospect client I would also like to know the following:
Why is there no solid information on your website stating the game has been released?

If the game is released, why does the website still say its in beta?

Are all of the pre-order folks in game already?

How long can I expect to wait for my account to be activated after I have purchased this product as compared to when you have removed the money from my account? 

Are all of the promised features in game as of right now?

In general network latency is a noticable via browser, or ping... you have taken your community offline because of "server load" when you are responding to requests in a normal 1 MS round trip packet to the forums.

If the game improves ( or lasts ) over the next few months I might.  Not above saying Im wrong, I just prefer to wait until I actually am before I remove my foot from my mouth.

So basically its a paid beta untill it officially releases so that everyone can purchase the game and play it right away.

I just told you it's a paid beta. You must of PAID them to play. Paid as in the past not pay as in the present/future.

I was also wondering where I could purchase Darkfall I've been looking around and I can't find anything

Why would you pay to play?

I just signed up for the beta from the offical site.  I still have hopes of getting into the open beta and play for free.

Only the limited number of people who were allowed to pre-order can play. Now go away!

I think we can all clasify this game as "released" when it's in the "Released Games" section on this mmorpg site.

Until then, it's in development. If people are playing a game wich is in development then they are participating in a beta.

Standard game development terms don't aply to Aventuring.

AV have not said it is out of beta. They won't say this ever.

They are currently Releasing the game. Note, they don't say they have Released the game, they are instead in process of Releasing.

Yes, this may seem unusual, that's mainly because it is.

I think Darkfall has blurred the line on what a 'launch' is.   I mean, no matter how you face it, the vast majority of people can't play the game even if they are willing to pay for it... how is that a 'launch'?   But at the same time, they have collected money from people and some of those people can play on a live server, which sounds like a 'launch'.

I don't think I've ever seen something 'launch' like this.  I've seen plenty of games that couldn't handle demand at launch and were forced into queues and stuff like that.  But I've never seen a game that so drastically restricted who could even attempt to play the game (very limitd pre-orders) and then still not allow even those 'lucky' ones to play.
