Let me get this straight...  AV spent 7 years of their lives developing a game that they then scammed everyone out of for a what...  $500,000 profit?  Yep, that must be it!

This is why there should be an age limit to post on forums. 

AV may be inept at a LOT of things, but spending nearly a decade of their lives to scam about 10,000 people out of a game that they have clearly built and refined would go long past ineptness right into complete stupidity beyond reason.

The game will launch, it will launch late.  Their PR will suck.  People will complain about every little thing that goes wrong.  The game will start slow and develop into a steady and moderate playerbase.  Those who have spent months if not years whining and trolling these forums, along with others, will buy and play Darkfall.  They will act as childish and ignorant in-game as they do in the forums, and the rest of us will be left to deal with them in-game.

It sucks, it's life.  It's a shame that pre-teens can get acess to a gaming forum and prove their asses like this.

Hell, 95% of the crap that you whiners bitch about doesn't even follow basic logic.  It's still a good read though.  It's like a car wreck.  You don't want to look at it but you can't help yourself.

Yeah it's stupid people started complaining when it was still only mid afternoon in Europe even though specifically stated that it was going to launch in the evening.

but basic logic would be "follow everything aventurine does without question"

face it, aventurine is the worst gaming company ever created, and you cant argue against it.

That is a lot of money for 3 people that have been sitting in a basement. 

I guess the OP has forgotten about games like Dark and Light and has no clue how scams work.

Well most people in Europe would be using European Central Time for anything like this.  Also I don't know what planet you are on but on earth evening is 6 pm to midnight.

Very well formatted.  You must have paid a lot of attention in homeroom and creative writing before you graduated the 8th grade. 

It's just funny that the fans are now down to ' well, what exactly is evening?' as their way to defend AV.

This was seen a mile away.  They had a few thousand beta testers and couldn't keep the servers up for more than a few hours a time even with only a few hundred beta testers logged in at a time.  They never had any type of stress test and their account mgmt page was never really tested.

With all the mistakes AV has made since december when they claimed " our game is complete and could be launched tomorrow'.  Does anyone really think they can fix that account problems AND the server issues post-launch?

I think they are never going to really release this game. It is going to flounder around for a few days, then they are going to backtrack, refund pre-orders and go back to setting up the infrastructure of the game.  They barely had a playable version of the game ( so much broken).. and the infrastructure/billing side of things is just as complicated and has not been tested.
