OMG! Skill Queueue!??!?! Also, more graphics updates and new sound engine?!?! I just wish I could like EVE. Everytime I try it, I only last a few days before I am completely lonely and depressed from the empty blackness of space. I think I will try it again after this xpac releases! ;) |

Ok this is what you do. this will help you i promise. when you first start the game right after the 10 mission story arc that gives you a couple free ships. go join the recruitment channel and ask for a casual laid back corp that takes new players. these corps are out there, they will even run Ops with you and fleet up for missions so you could gain standing fast. Once you can fit a Frigate in tech II guns and tank 3-4 weeks leave those guys and join a FW corp (ask in recruitment). FW simulates fleet pvp on a smaller scale and there are a ton of new players pew pewing with frigates. have a goodtime I hope this helps you.
Edit: Unless your a miner playing alone blows ass, stop doing that haha.

You have to give Eve some time to get your head wrapped around it. Once you do, there is no going back. At first I did not "get" Eve, I was too used to Orcs and Elves. Once I put some time into it, I realized Eve is the best game I've ever played. This new expansion even takes it to another level. |

Oh wowowowowow... skill queue! Thank you CCP!
That is the best part of the entire xpac imo. Finally makes getting all of the short little skills out of the way. Since I'm heavily concentrated on my character in certain categories, I still have some of those to go through!
Hmmm.. perhaps I'll come back after all Back in EvE. Started with BatMUD. Main MMOs have been EvE and DAoC. |

As a person who has recently rediscovered EvE--I find they really deliver in every way a MMORPG can deliver----Free expansions and awesome graphics and game play, these guys really have earned every iota of success they have received. I think they will grow tremendously in 2009.

The moment Ambulation is launched this game is going to skyrocket in subscriber numbers! All the Sci-Fi fans that were mostly turned off by EVE, because they couldn't leave their ships will come back crawling in droves. Even for the diehard RP'ers this is going to be jum mjum... as EVE has build up massive lore around it's universe. Ambulation will make EVE more complete and from there on.... man, they can start doing and adding anything they want or what we ever wished for! When www met dot , they then stumbled upon Secret Society , wich happened to be a Guild , wich in turn told dot about the net . |

Why not make your own anti pirate corp ? Being an anti pirate bounty hunter is difficult. CCP really needs to improve the tools available to the players for it. |

I would, but at this point i feel i lack the experience, perhaps in a 6 or so months I will. Until then i feel it would be unfair to any recruits if I put such a corp together.---but if i was to hunt pirates, I would imagine jump gates would be the place to look...or at least that where I've seen a few so far, during my limited in-game time. |

Yes anti-pirating is very hard in EvE atm not least because you have to be a skilled PvPer, but also because the game is almost set up against it due to faction hits when you PvP against them. One of my old corps, that is no longer around, used to be anti-pirate, but quite a few of them took sec hits and became undistinguishable to the game from pirates. Some of them resolved this by taking holidays in empire space frequently to mission grind. Good luck :) Back in EvE. Started with BatMUD. Main MMOs have been EvE and DAoC. |

Thanks that was truly the missing piece of the puzzle I needed
Ps: thanks for crushing my dreams (lol) |

Very nice! I've been drooling all over EVE-files for the past week. The only thing CCP needs now is to find a way to put more hours in the day so I have time to play more. The skill queue is defiantly over due. As for the game not being set up for anti-pirating, I agree but think it’s a good thing. It means pirates are committed to their craft and those that aren't pirates probably have something valuable to lose and that they need to defend. It makes things more exciting in IMHO. |
