Well, i've just been looking over the releases of 2009 and nothing excites me The only games that have remotely peaked my interests are: Fallen Earth, Stargate Worlds and Earthrise. What about the rest of the community, is there anything that excites you? |

With the financial crysis and economies tanking I look forward to seeing a lot of these game companies crashing and burning. Not to get joy from the failure of people and companies but I think the gaming industry has been screwing their customers over with incomplete and poorly suported produst for a long time. With money becoming tight I think it will be a good thing to see many of these games, and developers, go belly up as people start to demand more quality for their dollar(s). Perhaps out of the ashes some more innovation can rise up and move the genre forward. -------------------------------- |

The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on. |

I wouldn't expect SGW to launch this year, from what I've been reading they're hemeraging staff because they've refused to pay them. Having trouble getting a job, and working at a place where they don't pay you... I'm not sure which is worse. I'm looking forward to Champions Online, and might give JumpGate a whirl (for the first time since 2000). That's about it though... Champions is really my bet for this year. - CaesarsGhost Lead Gameplay and Gameworld Designer for a yet unnamed MMO Title. |

Two there should be; no more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it. |
I am looking forward to Fallen Earth, Earthrise, Mortal Online, Aion among others. I am also looking forward to learning what the new Blizzard MMO will be as well as the new Square Enix MMORPG which is set to be announced at E3 in June this year. |

if Mortal Online makes out out by the end of the year, this is the game i am personally excited about. |

Champions Online, Jumpgate Evolution and Aion seem to be the best to offer for 2009 so far unless SW:TOR releases this year which the majority feel that will not happen this year. |

I´m looking forward to Champions Online |

I'm building my Jumpgate Evolution cockpit as we speak. Then there's Champions Online and Earthrise. There's not enough time in the day to play one of those, let alone 3. So yeah, plenty to look forward to in 09'. Just need some patience and faith, the MMOG revolution has barely begun.

Earthrise and Jumpgate Evolution are both lookin great. |

Actually, after watching a video of Aion combat, 'looks' like a nice game; as we all know, however, games arent all about graphics. |

I was an avid fan of CoH/V, so I'm definitely looking forward to Champions online...or as some are calling it CoH2 |

Aion, Champions Online, maybe Star Trek Online, and the beta for SWTOR. Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time. If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day. AMD 4800 2.4ghz-3GB RAM 533mhz-EVGA 9500GT 512mb-320gb HD |

Aion is about the only noteworthy upcoming release i can think of for 2009. Are we freer in America today? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWOW1OKzdNA |

Nope. No releases to look forward to for me in 2009. |

I'm looking forward to The Chronicles of Spellborn. A few other games have a chance of being good. Of course, if a game comes out in 2009 and I end up really liking it, there's a fair chance that I won't pick it up until about 2011. There's no need to be on the bleeding edge and have to deal with disastrous launches. |

Aion is probably the only game I will buy but I am looking forward to the DF launch. I hope that it goes well but I will not jump into that game until I know for sure it's not DnL 2. |
