The game has a desperate need for CC skills.  Stun, Sleep, Holds, Snare, Nightmare, or whatever you would like to call it.   Short duration and moderate casting times would not make them OP, and would add lots of possibilities for players.

I think he is entitled to his opinion. While your argument may be true, he might have seen that this game would benefit from it since pvp plays a central role in Darkfall. Your comment about locking the thread is just a poor attempt at trolling because you are bored, insecure, or whatever your issue may be.

Sure lock the thread, cause fanboys know these are far out of reach for Df , haa most of the good features they listed are not in the game...

Yeah, I love what I saw and read about the game so far but the endless chases are a bit unrealistic. There should be an equivalent of injuries / impairment in the game. I've seen too many pvp vids which only consisted of chasing people and popping arrows / spells in a victims back. Perhaps just a very random chance thing like three seconds of limping / movement speed decrease would make melee a lot more real.

Anyway, adding diversity to melee combat should be one of their priorities. Adding minor snares would help with that.

fine maybe i am bored and i know i'm not a fan, i'm here to play the game not to watch my char stand around because of a mez, i'll go play other games for that.

Not true.  This game does fine without CC.  The only time a CC would be valuable is 1v1.  In any group battle, running isn't an option.  It's very difficult to get away from a group of people who know what they're doing.

I think the addition of CC would take away from the overall game.
