its always funny you read early in a MMOs developement ... "take your time, don't rush it" but here we are they give an indication of when its going to come out and a bunch are already crying because its taking longer than they want. |

Haha yeah, I guess at that moment my impatience got to me. Ofcorse the news isn't an absolute decision as to when Aion will be released. I've already waited and I know many other have also waited quite along time for Aion, waiting acouple more months shouldn't hurt. Besides I ofcorse prefer a game that is at its best even though I might have to wait for it, compared to getting a game quicker and having to deal with annoying issues/bugs. Aion will hopefully be released in Q3 or some sort of preview as everyone including myself have inticipated. Then again this is only my wishfull thinking Again, I Appologize for my "Troll-Like" Post. |

i lost interest when i couldnt get passed the WoW factor of aion. 2 continents with alliance and horde like factions. 1 continent in the middle where they can kill eachother (outlands anyone?), they also speak different languages. It reminds me immensly of WoW pvp servers, although aion does have flight and siege battles, guess i'll have to wait for Lineage 3 for another game like Lineage 2 |

I am sorry, but Aion will be NOTHING like World of Warcraft. The only thing similar is the leveling speed. Everything else is entirely different. How do I know? I am playing the Korean version and I have first hand experience. If you think Aion is like WoW, you are terrible. |

Hahaha. You have to be kidding me. First of all, WoW does not have flying combat. You are on a mount in WoW. If you try to cast a spell you fall to the ground and die. In Aion, you do battle IN THE AIR. Also, WoW does not have a large PvP zone except for battlegrounds...which are purely optional. If you are on a PvE server you cannot even attack the other side anywhere. As for two sides...seriously? Could you not think of anything better? Almost every single MMO that exists have some sort of faction you are aligned to. For example: Anarchy Online (Clan/Neutral/Omni-Tek), City of Heroes (Heroes/Villains), Dark Age of Camelot (The 3 sides...whatever they are), Warhammer Online (Order/Destruction), etc. Get my point? |

There are many wow players that are playing in korean retail and almost all of them say that Aion is similar in regards to UI and a few minor things but game play aion is nothing like wow. I only played wow for like 2 months so i'm not really qualified to answer that question , but aion has sucked me in and has yet to spit me out.

yeah i didnt mean to say aion was completely like WoW, the gameplay looked great, especially the flight combat, but it felt too simple ..... i'm just used to playing Lineage 2 where the classes were more split up, not like in aion where gladiators are specialized in every dps weapon. Like in L2 gladiators were good with duals and that was it, the other classes specialized in other weapons. I feel it takes away from the uniqueness of my character. Although i believe thats why they added stigma's, to make your character unique. |

thats about as vague as saying AION has trees, WoW has trees so AION must be like WoW. AION has classes so does WoW omg AION is just like WOW.
give me a break. |

On peak hours in korea, sometimes I can't even get out of the city on my continent because of all the enemy faction. As far as good drops I have played 6 different classes (lvl22-28 mostly). I never good any good drops (blue-gold drops) on those char's. But i settled on one char and when I hit lvl30 the blue drops are falling for me finally. (4 so far) that char is lvl31 now. Alot of players like to hit the rifts and jump over to the other side to pvp because its fun as hell if you got a good party. Rifts are not random, You can time them. either way, its hard to believe how jedric blew my opinion of the game out of proportion. No clue why anyone would care as much as him about 1 person not liking the game he enjoys. This "discussion" is useless because your upset about my opinion, one that doesnt include false facts of the game. |

The main reason to pvp and pve in the abyss is to get "abyss points", With these points you can use them to buy abyss gear (cost no gold) that gear is better than blues and less than the hard to find gold items. Woah guys...okay back on topic. I don't mind waiting for another "X" months for Aion. Heck, FFXI didn't come out here till about a year after japans realease. |

Well this thread wasnt completely off topic... Basically Aion is a tease at the moment. Right now i'm and I know many others are enjoying Aion through screen shots and youtube videos of aion... It would be great if they atleast gave some sort of preview. I know they can't have stress tests and bug tests because they've already covered most of that. Aion = Big ass tease. |
