What is not in it that people are calling vaporware? There will be seabattles, islands, huge lands to explore, open pvp, customization etc? What more do people want?

no one has called darkfall vaporware for like 2 weeks and people who do are just joking....

I want houses made of ginger bread, gumdrops, candy canes, a roof made of cake, with sugar windows...

So I can eat the house then you complain that i ate it? Hell to da No

lol in my opinon i think darkfall sucks and really boring lol wasnt nothing new from anything else

Technically Darkfall is vaporware until it releases. But it's moot, since the drop of the NDA makes it apparent that it will release, and then it will no longer be vaporware.

In other words, Darkfall is vaporware, but it's highly unlikely that it won't release and be redemptive software.

It's all rather academic at this point.

How will DF do after release? I think it will do OK. That is I think enough people will buy it and pay the sub fee that they will make some money and open US servers.

It's not the game I'm looking for, but I'm glad that the people that enjoy it can play it. Hopefully the people in the US that enjoy DF will get US servers soon, because lag, or leg as Dread OG calls it, does make a difference.

As a beta tester I can say without a hint of hesitation that Darkfall is the best game I have ever played, period. And I don't mean just MMO's either, its the best game ever made imo. The funny thing is that the game hasn't even reached its full potential yet. As I am loving every second of beta I do catch myself thinking, "I can hardly believe how good this will be one day".

I kid you not, imo it is that good.

ps. for those who cares I have 17 years of gaming addiction behind me and I have played hundreds of games.

Funny thing is a tester as well, it s one of the worst games I ve played. It s that bad. For each their own, but I would highly suggest not getting this game for awhile, if ever.

Darkfall is not technically vaporware, not even a chance.  It was at one point by definition, but you cant make the arguement that it is now without only focusing on like one line of a definition and then being very nitpicky about it while ignoring all the other criteria that it does not meet.
