Theres atleast 2k players in beta currently going by the beta welcome thread alone, no idea how many on this forum. Also the vast majority of beta users on the beta forums like this game, but quite rightfully they all agree this game still needs work.

Also there was a updated poll recently that shows the majority are also still willing to preorder the game of those in beta despite its flaws(personally I voted maybe reasons of which I posted in another thread on this forum).

Calling everyone who says they are in beta a hater or lier if they leak will just make you look like a complete prat when you are proven wrong in a very short amount of time. It is likely that they will not lift the NDA till the last minute btw and I am proof they do very little with leakers.

There are 4k+ testers atm.

Funny how almost every fan of this game here has posted something trying to indicate they are in beta.  Pfftft.  We saw a lot of that with games like Dark and Light too, I remember all the posters telling how great that game was in beta, cuz they "KNEW but couldn't tell us why" lolz.
 

Heh you honestly cant put aside your hating to understand that there is 0 chance that no one on these boards are in beta?

Also I think kyleran may have misread and thought total number of people invited to beta...or he was just being funny =)

But yea...i hope you honestly dont believe no one here is in beta...cause there are a good amount

Haters? Odd name to give people who see this game differently than you. As long as you fans are going to post here vomiting up whatever crap tacoboy has feed you we will be here to point out it just aint so.

You want to stop all this ? Then find one good reason the NDA is still in force at this late date. Come on lets talk about about that, you have avoided it so far, ask you friend tacoboy and let us know.

Better yet lift the sucker so we can begin to tell people whats going on in detail before they pre-order.
 

There is not many people in this beta. Probably only one or two people on here. I suspect who that is.. though I do not believe for a second that they are objective reviewers. I also suspect aventurine maybe even on this board too. Tin foil hat time ladies... 

Anyways, some material on youTube is more objective and looks at DF longer term potential, which is not too great. Heck one fanboi even posted links on here a few days ago... to a youtube video that was utterly average in outlook to DF.

So no I don't think there is many on beta... nor many leaks in comparison to other MMOs.

You never know, servers may be down for maintenance etc. Lots of reasons people post on forums. In any case we won't know until NDA is lifted. So cheers to speculating.

Oh, and he thinks the game totally rocks even without all the polish done yet.   He also knows full well that this game isn't for everyone or most people in general.     No need to lift the NDA.    Selling Darkfall to today's MMORPG community is like trying to sell porn to the Amish.    There's no need in even trying.   If someone really wants a game with this difficulty level and offering the features included in DF, they will seek it out themselves.

Now when the NDA is gone...i been in beta for months. There, you got it! And i have played maybe 5-8 hours every day. When the servers been up and im free from work of course.

I am in beta.

Game has a stable client.  Good base to work with, much better than I expected.  As I expected, it needs a ton of balance and polish.  Still, good enough to preorder and I will.
