If you read between the lines of some of the posters here, you get the impression they are in beta. And we know some must be. I always think they sit and laugh at all weird trolls posting here. But how many beta testers do you really think we have here? It will be fun when the NDA lifts.

Id say very few if any at all. Certainly none among the regular posters.
Once ur into the Beta u also get access to the Beta forums, and If u actually have anything u want to discuss about the game ur going to want to do it there, where people actually know what ur talking about.
A beta tester talking to us wouldnt really get anything out of it.

Heh thats funny dark. Beta forums are a mess of people complaining about just about every feature of this game. A lot of testers have given up and just no longer go there but come here to try and keep the fanboys honest. Hard for you to imagine but true, game wasnt even worth the time to test it. |

At least 1000, no more than 5000, with best guess around 2500 to 3000. Edit from my post below: Yeah, I misread the OP, thought he meant how many were in Beta now, not how many members of these forums were in Beta. Hard to say on that factor. I'm thinking somewhere between 10-50, (active posters anyways) with the real number being more like 25 tops.

Hmm, let's just ask this. If so many of the um fanboys are in the Df beta, Why the fuck are they here on these forums attacking skepticism constantly rather then playing their beloved game? Yes, I say ZERO. Atleast zero of the fans trying to imply they are in the beta anyhow. |

How many there are in beta, and actually post here? - Really it doesn't matter because players can't post anything but opinions until the NDA is lifted. I think a better solution would be to require people to log in to see sub forums that have NDA material.
How many are there in beta? - No one knows for sure but apparently the beta forums give information out on the total # of characters that are created. Last anyone ever reported on the number was 6k and with a max of 6 chars per beta account there would be a min of 1k testers. That was a long time ago so who knows how many there are now. |

There is a poster I know and trust who said (on another forum) he got an invite. He is NOT a fanboi either. Of any game.
But, sadly, he also said he was too busy so had not followed up on the offer... so i don't know what he would have thought of it. |
