hi all

diddnt read all your posts but just wanted to say :  i loved that game from the start and waited a long time , but if its delayed again im gone for sure. There are a lot of games out there soon , which are very good like aion and so on. Hope darkfall will go down like war , aoc and so on,.....and not because i hate it , just because this tasos and his lies. thx for your attention and sry for bad english.

I don't understand why the NDA hasn't been lifted yet. I've watched quite a few lengthy beta leak in game footage describing pretty much all that's in the game already.

Now, it's 8 days until release and preorders haven't been set up, let alone any advertisements, previews, write ups, nothing.. Most MMO's usually lift the NDA within 2 weeks of release, which leads me to believe we could be in for another delay announcement within the next couple days, *sigh*

Now, to comment on the guy who rambled about getting banned for coming out with all this negative info,, YOUR DUMB.  A few guildies of mine are in beta, have been for quite some time and the game could be released today, based on their experiences.  That's all I am willing to say, but I know quite a bit. When the NDA is lifted, I'm sure there are many people who will post reviews for skill leveling, crafting, combat, pvp, bugs, and what's being left out at release, etc. IF the game comes out on the 25th, I imagine the NDA should be lifted by tomorrow or thursday. 1 week is cutting it a bit thin, but still doable.  

Just be patient another day or two, we've waited this long. :D

Taco promised the pre-orders would be out by mid-Feb .. so by the theory stated above they should be available by tomorrow (Feb 18) .

You just made yourself look dumb as you put it. His opinion is that yours is opposite. This is how the world works. I myslef think it is a bad game and won t go into detail why yet. When/if Nda is dropped i ll say why. Opinions are a great thing, but to say his is dumb is iggnorant.
 

Well i hope they delay a month or 2, so they can fix some stuff thats realy needed.

To put some details on their website costs NOTHING and takes maybe 1 H. 

Those people are completely unprofessional and going to kill their product before the release

So two people say its ready for release and anyone else is lying?   How long have they played in beta 1 month? 3 months? or just a week. I doubt theyve been playing for months. Most people love a game in the first few months. Its keeping them around for 6 months to a year.

I cant wait till the hype for this glorified Quake mod is over.   They even act like a mod team.   If youve ever followed a mod in development this is exacty how they act.

Theres indie and theres amature.  Indie doesnt mean your buisness is unprofessional. But Amature does mean that.

and gameplay which consists of running around trying to PK everyone like a mindless psycopath ...

I used to be interested in this game. I used to be open-minded about it, etc... but at this point, unlike most people on here, I definitely do NOT want this game to succeed. I'm 100% hater. It'll be 1,000,000 times more satisfying, and funny if this game fails at launch and crashes into the ocean like so many meteorites.

Pre-paid pages? I'll tell you right now that that's not how it works in most of your more reputable places. I can tell you that we'll be taking a look at DF as soon as we're able... and it has nothing to do with pre-paid anything.

Given the amount of traffic DF brings to this site, i'd be very surprised if you didn't.

Its funny i thought that happened inside the US, the nation with the biggest secrecy conserning population interest subjects. The games secrecy is all about a shamefull attempt to make people buy a flawed game, thats all.

Wow you have no clue do you. The USA is widely recognised as having the most heavily government moderated press in the Western World. Almost every single European country has more civil rights and greater freedom of speech than the US constitution. Of course if you are from the US you won't know this because you have been brainwashed in propaganda BS all you life.

Barring that, I agree its getting very close to the date, obviously there will be no game reviews untill the game is actually out, by which time there will be plenty, and I actually like that.

It means that most ppl will await the launch and see how it goes, while people like me will have an easier time getting into the initial release.

 

But if we dont get any info today or tomorrow we might as well assume they will delay again, which is not uncommon in the MMO world.

 

I wasnt here at the time, but from what I understand the last delay was announced ON THE DAY of the release?

 

So most likely another delay will be announced in the same way.

 

Well that is certainly not the correct way to treat ur playerbase, but at the end of the day this is about the game not their ability to manage marketing.

Another delay only means a better release after all.

oh really?  Care to explain Geerts Wilders arrest by the English government this past week because he made a friggin movie that was milder then most put out by Michael Moore?  Last I checked Moore has never been arrested in the US because of the movies he made.  Yet in such a free country a mand can be arrested for making a movie, another can be butchered for what he says (Theo Van Gogh), and yet another who speaks out against terrorism is denied entry into your supposed free countries (Hirsi Ali).

Yes Europe is much better on civil rights, so long as you do what they say and only speak what they allow you to speak.
