Ok, basically I have played LOTRO before, on this same account, but recently every time I try and start LOTRO once it gets to the screen that shows the turbine sign after it loads the game just turns off.  I am using the free trial and have a vista, all the other times it worked but it didn't show the turbine sign, now that it's showing that sign however it freezes up and the game shuts down, then something from the computer comes up and says that the LOTRO client has stopped working.  Any info would be appreciated.

Make sure LOTRO has all the permissions it needs in vista, such as firewalls, admin priviliges ETC...

Certain USB keyboards will cause the client to stop responding. Try using a new keyboard ps2 keyboard that plugs into the regular keyboard port. Also there are prob other USB devices that will also cause problems as well. Good Luck!
