We dont know for sure if Darkfall is another Dark&Light trap waiting to happen or the BestSandboxTM But one thing is sure: When next month is over there will be lot "I told you so" comming from one side of the fence. So , for the record (and fun) , put your name here and - If you going to preorder , or buy DF at launch, and vote for greatness of DF - put this sign If you think Darkfall is unfinished mess, like D&L. These kind of threads are what wrong with this forum....this isnt about who is right and who is wrong...it is for hoping we actually get a decent mmo finally. Pretty sad when any news comes out, you see the usualy suspects trying to spin it to make themselves be right. Point is, after release...the fanbois will be screaming success, and the haters will be screaming lol i was right it is a fail...no matter what happens.

Ok ill put my balls on the chopping block.
1. I don't care whether it gets delayed or not ive always said that, but ill say that it looks like its actually coming out the 25th, thou for a limited audience.
2. I will be preordering the game.
3. I believe Darkfall will be a great game, I think the combat works and UI is ok and I think that Aventurine will manage to keep the game going in the long run.
4. I have no doubt in my mind that the game will be alot better in 6 months then it is now, but im fine with it, after all that has been the case for every other mmo out there.

It will launch the 25th.
For the first 2 weeks, everyone will be happy ganking each other. By the end of the first month, some of the flaws will become appearent to most advanced players. By the end of the second month, most of the flaws will be appearent to a good deal of player population. By the end of the third month, capped people will start to cry hard about the flaws of the game. By the end of the fourth month, they will have to fix the main flaws or they will start to lose tons of subs. EDIT: Obviously there will be those players that play 5 minutes, say "blah" and go away. I think about 50-75% of the followers will have that kind of reaction. |

I will pre order. Seriously, if you are afraid. Do as i did with AoC and WAR. Read the reviews. I only heard bad things about the other games so i didnt get them. With DF i have only heard good things, so im gonna get it. It wont be worse then AoC or WAR right? |

It is the game i will play for the next few years. Never cared about AoC, WAR and that crap. I always wanted to play DF since i heard of it. From what is available in leak3ed videos it will fully satisfy me through the gameplay.
The earlier i get in the sooner i don't have to waste time with many of you trolls here. Also please stay away from pre order or any attempts to buy the game, because i want it. I'll be pre-ordering and playing if I can get a spot. I'm sure there will be enough bad things for the bashers to point fingers, but the game is good right now. The vision that the devs have for the game is so in line with what I want that any forward progress gets me closer to the game I want. It's already closer to what I want than anything out there.
