I'm so goddamned disappointed in him. I voted for him, I spent hours upon hours working for the campaign... And what do we have... A succesion of poor cabinent nominees (both me and my mother *faceplamed* when we heard he had nominated Daschle) and an ornament laden 'Bail Out', that probably has more pork attached than acutual 'bail-out-y-ness'. F*cking p*ssy party leadership. (granted, he supports network neutrality and repealed the gag-rule, so I guess I'm happy about those) |

Obama is the leader of the party? I thought it was Pelosi. Sure had me fooled......I just thought all he got to do was live in that big house while others made decisions.

I agree. While the Republicans for the most part just kinda Blankly stared off in to the sun and followed Bush If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. |

Obama is too busy right now trying to be liked. He doesn't realize that he has to kick a little ass. Right now that little ass is very busy consolidating her power. If she succeeds, that, more than anything else, will be the end of his Presidency. He seems to have forgotten about keeping his enemies near........

Conservatives thought this all along. Both about Obama, and Pelosi. Some of us even tried to warn about it. But to be fair... McCain is more of a Rino to most conservatives... That's why we didn't come out in full force to vote for him. Obama won because we stayed home. The only reason I actually voted for him was because of his Palin pick... until her I wasn't going to vote. |

Even as a liberal Democrat I could never understand why the Republican Party gave the nod to John McCain. It just seemed as if he could never motivate his party. Past, Present, or Future. I also noticed that in the contest between Obama and Hilary, Pelosi never stepped up to the plate on behalf of another woman. It could have pushed Hilary into the nomination. Personally I don't find Pelosi to be that kind, understanding grandmotherly figure she likes to portray to the press. I think of her more as a tough, ambitious, arrogant, egotistical politician. I don't think for a minute Pelosi saw Hilary as the first female presidential nominee for the Democratic Party, let alone as the first woman President. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Pelosi sees herself in that role. But it is hard to make a move from the minority leader's position. I don't believe in the entire history of the United States a minority leader has ever gone on to win a nomination. Even as majority leader, her hands were tied by a Republican President quite nicely. She had nothing to build on. Now, with four years as majority leader she can carve her name in policy, as well as in Obama's backside. Look at this stimulus bill, he admits it has problems, but is willing to let Pelosi shove it down his throat, rather than risk a confrontation with her to get it right. Don't be surprsied if you see her spend the next four years undercutting Obama and promoting herself.

Debt clock in NYC modified to handle incomprehensible growth..ya Obama... If you had gone into business on the day Jesus was born, and your business lost a million dollars a day, 365 days a year, it would take you until October 2737 to lose $1 trillion. HA, HA, HA “We are not going to be able to perpetually finance the levels of debt that the federal government is currently carrying.” — President Obama, February 12, 2009 Oh the irony hypocrisy Obama. How does this president get away with having everything both ways? Obama’ has scheduled his “fiscal-responsibility summit” for February 23, and according to the Wall Street Journal, three days later, Obama will start to pressure politicians to address the country’s debt crisis.
HA HA HA...IT's freaking killing me...You couldn't make this shit up if you wanted to.. wait tell the next bill is put forward...because this one is just not big enough.Oh brother where aren't thou. Trade in material assumptions for spiritual facts and make permanent progress. |
