OMG! I had this new entry for my blog and I lost it all! Stupid computer decides to puke and it locked up or something and all of it is gone! God and it was so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!! ::grabs a pillow and screams into it as loud as she can:: Frak!!!!

It's happened to me here on this site. I would get all excited about a topic and write up about 4 or 5 paragraphys of stuff in a post and then for some reason the browser would crap out or I'd hit refresh by mistake or something stupid would happen and I'd lose it all. It's quite irritating. Once upon a midnight dreary, while I porn surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of 'hot xxx galore'. While I clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", I muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, "404." |

Pretty much what I do now. I just copy everything at given intervals just so that if the page crashes I still have most if not all of what I said. For years I've always copied long topics/post overtime and before I post. If anyone remember years ago when u press post sometimes the website don't post or it erased what you had. I've been in your position, so just take a chill pill and do it again soon. Almost done rewriting it. OMG...I about lost it. Seriously...it was one of the best things I have ever written. ::sigh:: This is nearly as good. I am sorta pressed for time though, I have to get to bed soon. Have to do something tomorrow before I leave on a business trip and Iike to get this part and part 3 up before I leave. Yea me.

I use Ditto. It's a tiny program that logs, and saves everything you copy it's also very nifty in the sense that I can take something that's not "current" on the clip board and make it so it is. Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it. |
