LOL, Darkfall to be the most expensive mmo in the genre, talk about Irony.

anyone remember that age old adage for mmos, the higher price, the better the customer? didnt they just price themselves out of the only market they have

but dont worry, the AI has been significantly improved!

They need to pay ME $18 a month to play this disgrace of a game.

mmos prices usually translate 1:1 in dollar to euro  15  euros payed in europe equals 15 US$  for games in north america for most games

The way this game is going to be at launch it needs to be half the current MMO rate. Ease people into it as they "hopefully" improve it.

He also said there will be a boxed version of it  (just no dates,names,locations revealed).........

The date of release is the 25th Feb this year.........

He sounded confident that they are ready to face the "Big Boys" of the industry and that they will earn the money that went into producing this game  from subscriptions by next year (10.700.000 Euro  in one year more or less that is )

and the reporter called  him "The Bill Gates of Greece"

I didn't catch the entire thing just the part that Tasos  was talking and the only footage i saw being played in some screen in the background was from the 17min clip they released last year

I've seen the page already. I don't know enough Greek to discern whether it's a serious site or a satire site or not.

I think the  3Greeks /5 Norwegian refered to the original number of devs that started the game as to how many are to date there was no reference in the interview and honestly i don't think it matters at this point when we are 2 weeks from release

I once knew a guy who believed in the Jan. 22 release date so adamantly that he paraded around a sig with a tombstone saying "R.I.P. Vaportrolls - Jan. 22". Well, that obviously didn't happen. He quietly removed his sig, swallowed his tears, and lurked around the board until he thought that most people forgot about the humbling he took to again re-surface.

However, to the dismay of his fellow Darkfall supporters, he learned from his previous debacle and was not sporting an updated version of the banner in order to "own" the "vaportrolls". All he needed to do was open up photoshop and change that Jan. 22 to Feb. 25. It would take less than 10 seconds! I can understand him not wanting to look like a total imbecile, but how can his faith be so easily shaken?

Guess the people who said that Aventurine was turning away their own supporters with their lack of professionalism was right after all.

My tombstone never said anything but RIP vaporware trolls....and the date in my sig was in reference to the gameplay video released in august, because to me, any sane person would consider that more than enough proof that the game was being worked on.

I love that the trolls are resorting to this kind of stuff....see you in game man lol, thanks for the laugh.
