You misunderstood what I meant, I was saying you could jump in the troll fest of this website and just troll the people saying the game is vaporware/gonna be bad, so technically there's four things you can do.

Your post was correct though, you just misunderstood what I said.

Haha saying 90% of what these forum trolls have spewed is correct is hilarious.  More like 5% up until a few weeks ago, and then when it turned out not to be vapor they had to come up with a whole new list of negatives most of which are out of date and are being adressed, and now maybe they are right about 15-20% of their complaints which are 90% opinion and preference, and of that 75% is based on horribly decompressed and crappy videos.

Then 99% of all statistics are made up so what do you have...  A ridiculous forum.  Let's all go hug someone we love and eat pie.

Yep, yep. Everything everybody says that doesn't put Darkfall or Tasos in the best of lights is a troll and just making up stuff right?
Like my posts about Tasos and his statements over the years with links to his own words about the state of the game... I just made all of that up and put up phony websites with stuff Tasos never actually said I suppose.

The reasons these forums are 'absolutely ridiculous' is simply because of blind fanboyism like what we see demonstrated in this specific post by Mr ProfRed here.

PS.  This is in no way a defense of Tasos.  Tasos speaks bull quite often, but his faults don't correlate with Darkfalls.  Tasos isn't a unique character either.  We have seem him in other companies as well, throughout MMORPG history.

This is the typical DF fan response to legitimate concerns, complaints, doubts, and any skepticism from anyone.

- They hardly ever actually combat the doubts with answers.

- They never want to provide links or sources of what they want to show as proof of Darkfalls greatness, unless ofcourse that proof is from their mighty Tasos himself.

lol,  I think this is a crack in your crystal ball.

Although WAR  was bit bland for my taste it has been reported to have a population over 300,000.  Plenty of subscribers to keep the game making money.

AoC is guesstimated to have around 100,000 but it is tough to get numbers , Funcom is still spending money on a new Russian launch and they did add two new fresh start servers after the merges last month.

The funny thing about games nowadays is that they nearly recoup the production costs ( $ 30 million ) in just the initial box sales and preorders alone.   Even if the game is crap, 500,000 box sales is a huge amount of money. 

Your prediction seems a bit lacking ...

Lets look at sub 100,000 subscriber MMOs that have been going strong for years and will probably be around long after 2010 :

Asheron's Call,  estimated 45,000 subs still around after almost 10 years !

Dark Age of Camelot, estimated 90,000 subscribers and still around after 8 years.

Everquest 1, Everquest2, Vanguard, UO, etc...

Im very skeptical. Aventurine has a piss poor track record of releasing anything. Theyve never put out a game and this game has been in limbo for nearly a decade.

It may come out but honestly I think when it does the DF fanbois are gonna see how small the ffa pvp full loot sandbox crowd really is. For your sake I hope theres enough of you to keep df limping along

I agree with you, but Most forums are rediculas, because most people go onto forums to discuss or flame there opinions about somthing they have a problem with or do not like, and sometimes people dont like to hear anything bad about the games they like. I think if people could be more open minded and less ignorant and share their opinions like adults and try to see each others veiw, Maybe these forums wouldnt be so rediculas to you, but we all know that will never happin.

 The problem with all the trolls and nay-sayers is that they don't release just how great DF could be.  EVEN if it fails to deliver on everything promised, it will still be 10x better than WoW, WAR, and rest, including the not yet even released, Aion.

The reason why DF has hardcore fanbois who turn a blind eye to some minor faults Av has exhibited is because the potential of the game greatly outways its current faults, i.e. poor customer service and communication, graphics and animations.
