I haven't played War since 1-2 months after release, re-subbed today, made a order white-lion, really enjoying the game so far. there has been a lot of improvements, and with the two more new classes, and the RvR dungeon coming

I've been resubbing to all my old MMORPG's lately, LOTRO, AoC and yesterday i went back testing WAR. From all these 3 WAR was the biggest mistake. Oh my god, what a waste of money. After playing AoC on highest setting and then going into Warhammer?! FUGLY.....nothing else to say.

Well once I got over that I started playing again. Basically all EU servers are more or less dead, gameplay feels like grinding, doing boring quests and queue'ing for scenarios which are never popping. After a few hours I got bored, it's just a gimped version of WoW (srry if I offended any fanbois but this is how I see it :P) and I"m trying to get away from that game atm... Yes it might have some  innovative thing but still.

I have the feeling I wasted my money, and I'm actually enjoying AoC more then this game, while in fact AoC should be worse :\.

Huh...I have subs to both WAR and AoC. They both have their pros and cons, but WAR has never felt like the way you described it. If I get bored with normal quests, I can ORvR or do Senarios or maybe get a group together and do a PQ. I'm also on a RP server, so I can just yell in regional and find myself a group to RP with.

Good to see you come back and having a good time.  If you're going to have 1/10th of the fun that I'am having in it you will love this game forever :D

Well as an active Wow player the time I invest in WAR seems wasted, since I feel it's better spend in WoW instead. But like I said there is the catch, I dont want to put more time into WoW :P. Basically I'm looking for a different WoW, and since WAR is just looking too much like WoW (IM) I like to prefer AoC over WAR since it's just giving another experience.

But please note I didn't intended to bash on this game, I just wanted to comment about my resub experience. There are enough players liking the game and it's fine in general =). Although I get the feeling the US community is better then the EU one in WAR :(
