I downloaded this game a while ago and I heard that you can only grind a certain amount per day because of stamina... Did they fix this or change it? I wanna be able to grind as much as I want. I hate games that limit the amount you can play. |

It's a really stupid concept to limit play. What's the purpose? The more time you are willing to invest in something, the larger the payoff should be. That's a standard equation for all things. |

I've been playing pretty solid for 2 months now, and only once did I ever run into a stamina issue (before I knew about the group stamina bonus). Over the course of 5-6 hours yesterday I completed 3 level 80-84 questlines and still had over 50 stamina left. You get additional stamina from multiple sources, and most people except those that play 16 hours a day will never run out of stamina. For example, almost every quest I completed on the quest lines (dozens of individual quests) I received extra stamina. Also, if you are grouped, you burn through stamina only half as fast. Even just leaving the game on generates 1 stamina every 10 minutes you don't fight, so if you like crafting or working the market, you'll gain a bunch that way as well. If you like PvP you gain 3 extra stamina with every Free League win as well. So yes, while it is technically possible to run out of stamina, unless you are playing many extremely heavy hours of non-stop combat, the chances of running out of stamina is pretty low. |

Better at doing whatever it is Wolverine does. |
and on top of what the previous guy said, as far as I know, Stamina doesn't PREVENT grinding, it just doesn't encourage it. you can still fight when you don't have stamina if you choose to. but you get less XP and Less Loot when you do so. I think Stamina is moreso for the Korean/Chinese gamers, and just something we inherited as a game mechanic. |

They fixed it since CB, which is probably the time you dled it. It was awful back then. Now it actually works. Even past level 50, when it drops to 50 per day its barley noticable. I've only run our once and that was when i was grinding a new level 1 merc up to level 80 (i'm level 97 now btw). If you enjoyed it back then and stamina ruined it, give it another shot i'd say. |

you can gain stamina from partying, sharing info, and free-league...
there's a thread about this already... it doesnt prevent you from grinding, also you gain stamina by doing quests, so far havent got any problems with stamina, been playing this game for about three months with the average of 9 hours a day and i never ran out of stamina.... |

Yeah there are lots of ways to regain stamina quickly...I am currently level 78 and I never run out of stamina in my entire playing of Atlantica Online(so far) ..but even though I will run out of stamina maybe in the future, i'll just utilize other aspect of the game to regain stamina |

i don`t know the realy reason for the creators put it on game... but maybe this is for limit some players, and help the casuals players.... maybe they can do a server with no stamina limit (For role-players / hardcore gamers) and only put stamina on casual servers...

If you just grind, you can run out of stamina fairly easily. I've had that happen a few times now. (Once just killing camels for the heck of it, because they were easy, other times grinding for crystals) On the other hand, if you do quests and/or fight in free league, it's pretty hard to. Indeed, I started the game today with 50 (having run almost out last night), several hours later I logged off with 75. Of course, I did spend an hour and a half fighting in free league. You get 2 stamina (I think) for every win, and you also get some just standing there (I think). You also get decent money, I got half a million worth of coins. Compare that to fighting, where I get about 6000 gold per fight (and so 50 of them would have been 300,000). And then I did some quests (finished up the Crete one and started the Hanging Gardens) - you get 1 stamina per each completed one. While some use them up a lot (mostly item drop ones), many of the quests just have to running around buying stuff or using things, so you can usually stay even. I really didn't like it in the beta, but it seems pretty well worked out now. At least where I am in the game (60-ish). Maybe it hurts at the end game, where you have to grind more... http://my.lotro.com/character/landroval/galadthryth/ - Lord of the Rings Online Character |

this don't limit the bots, they just need make more accounts, and all bots party with 3 ppls, with it is realy realy hard to end with stamina, and if it end they just need change accounts >_<

Stamina doesn't prevent anything, as said previously. It's a buff for a number of fights, once that buff is expired, you get less experience. The buff is refreshed each day. Many games do the same in fact. It's just to slightly slow down the big hardcore players. I only once ran out of stamina, that's when I was farming lots of low level monsters to get some enchant boxes. So it's not a problem at all. |

Stamina is not a buff, that is one big lie. Not having stamina is crippling debuff. If you go on mindless grinding spree it will run out very fast. Maximum of 60 fights, which is hour and half tops. Happened to me a few times and took me by surprise untill I did the math. But. If you play in normal fashion, you will not have any issue. Doing quests, doing some organized PvP (FL), running dugeons (individual/guild, not shadow). It will last whole day. And if you really want to powergrind it will allow all but the most hardcore grind marathons provided you kow basics. Unless my math is wrong I could go on for all my waking hours but you would have to pay me to test that :). It is hard to tell why they have put stamina in place originally but since it is a bit better game with than without, it stays.
