downloaded atlantica client and when im trying to unzip it says data corrupt..where is the problem?

Hi, i know it has been a long time since the last time i was around in this site. ^-^ Anyway, for your issue, may i know which site you downloaded the client?

May i also suggest for you to try and download form the following:

MMOSITE

File Front

This are the ones i normally give my friends for a client download. They also have high number of hits which to me, means that have a good installer.

Another way me and my friends do is to use the torrent and use force-recheck after the download just to make sure that the download is really complete (lowers chance of corrupted file).

hi there fixir! I most certainly agree with dt's suggestion. you could've downloaded from a bad link so you may try the suggested links from above posts. or i f i may, i suggest you to download microtorrent, its a good torrent downloader. and if you want a site where you can find torrent files, i also suggest that you go to mininova and demonoid. they have almost every torrent that there is. btw, i think mmosite hosts a very good download link. ^^ try it and post here regarding the results of your installation.

I would actually suggest downloading it from the game's own website. They have their own downloader plugin which works pretty well for resuming.

The most common problem when it comes to large files and corruption is the file did not completely download.  If you try to download a file that is 2.0gb or more with Internet Explorer the file will stop downloading right at 2.0gb.  Also Internet Explorer will consider the download complete if anything happens with your connection, even if it is a data surge (start downloading really fast after downloading at slower rates).  I have no clue why Internet Explorer does this, it's stupid, but I would suggest you use either the downloader they have, or download the client using Flashget or Free Download Manager.  All 3 of them you can pause and resume downloads, and the downloads will not become corrupt for being to large or having a fluxuation in your connection speed.

If it is not this then the link and file are bad, I would suggest using the downloader they provide, it works pretty good.

the main site provide two parts of the download client, so maybe lesser rate of corruption of the file...

hi I also have the same  problem, I get the same error. I downloaded it from game gravity. Any suggestions...

I also had problem installing the game with corrupted data, it took me 3 downloads before I managed to finally get it installed. It's even more painfull when the size of the kit is 2GB.

I think the good installation I managed to get was from peer-to-peer download, forgot what name it was.

I got it working, i downloaded it from file front. It took me three days to have a successful download. My 2nd download it had 30 minutes left then the internet went out. hahaha 15 hrs total download time.

yeah i got also the same problem the file is corrupt and i have to download it again and again... eventhou i still find ways to download better client... at first i use other site but its corrupted files then i try the main site them boom it works no more errors in installing the game... now i can finally play atlantica online... sweet!
