North American players are also welcome to participate in the European launch of Darkfall which will precede a North American launch.

I see this countdown alot like the Y2K panic at the end of 1999,alot of people were going on about it and waiting to see what happened,well when the clock struck midnight for the year 2000 nothing happened and life just went on.

I don't care how close we get - I am skeptical.  Okay, let's say it does release(finally), will it suck?  MMOs have been notorious for promising more features than can make release.  A small developer team makes me nervous, but their developement time balances that out.  I want the game to succeed, I wish them the best of luck, but I have a feeling they're going to need it.

To the above poster..

What doesn't make sense is: How can a development studio with a small team do better than a larger studio with a huge team (as well as more money)? 

I guess we'll see in 10 days.

Do you think Duke Nukem Forever will come bundled with this game?

The Work Day has ended in Athens.. And still no open beta announcement.  No distrubution or product delivery announcement.  No system requirements.  NO cost.  No progress.

We have 9 days left (7 working days, 6 if you don't count release day)

Who would have thought they would have waited this long?  
 

Oh I'm sure there will be plenty that come on here and say no worries... they have plenty of time left.  It's all going according to plan.  We never expected them to say anything before the 22nd. 

I'll bet I can go back and look at their history and they'll have made the same predictions back at the end of November about the Open Beta that was to be finished by early December as well.

Well... that would lend some creedence to having some issues with partners or publishers or something like that. 

Although if they manage to pull off getting Duke Nukem bundled with it... then DarkFall really would be a WoW Killer!

0 + 3... etc.   (Kind of like when a shuttle launch goes past it's scheduled launch time).

If I had to guess before The Noob's last update I would have said they will delay again.  With her saying #9 was her last... I'm inclined to think they will be releasing on the 25th.  Guess we'll see in 23 days.
